I have been taking all my vehicles to her shop, even when they were in Downey. Maggie the shop owner is so easy to talk to and everyone there is nice . When she moved away I was deeply saddened. I'm so glad she did not leave the state. it takes me 2 1/2 hours to get there but the quality is worth it. My Nissan Altima looks great. No more sun burns for me. Maggie and Robbie are highly skilled and knowledgable pros. Brought in 2 cars for tinting and after giving the tint about a month to dry due to my choice of materials (more on that below) I can say that Precision Window Tinting's quality is TOP NOTCH! Both cars travelled 95 miles - a 2.5 hour drive - and the trip was totally worth it!!! I am focusing on my personal car below but the second car, brought in to replace tint that got damaged, also turned out flawless! I had 2 objectives in mind: 1) vanity, and 2) heat reduction. I wanted to give my older Camry a "silver bullet" look and to cut solar radiation for a cooler interior while preventing sunburn of the back seat and rear deck. 1) Vanity: I brought an example photo I took of a Mercedes with mirrored windows that I saw in a parking lot. Robbie immediately brought up some very important facts to consider. First, the appearance I would get would look nice but it would be different from the example car: the stock glass in a Mercedes has a bluish color to it whereas my Camry has a clear, slightly green color. I would still get the mirror look but it wouldn't be as intense and it would be a different color. 2) Heat reduction: For both the mirrored look and the heat reduction the optimal material to use is metallized film. It's high quality stuff - BUT - it has a couple side-effects: it might interfere with AM radio reception and it takes a lot longer for the application to completely dry out and set. In my case I don't listen to AM radio - but I tested it and I still get great reception. For the latter, Robbie advised me in advance that the tint may look uneven until completely dry - and because it's metallized film the drying process could take a few weeks to a month! I patiently waited and true to his word - the tint evened out and looks amazing and it was worth the wait because the heat reduction is extreme! At the time I was there, they were preparing to move into new, bigger facilities at the same location and it looked like it's going to be fantastic with a modern, comfortable office/waiting area. I highly recommend Precision Window Tinting - they have the knowledge, experience, and quality you need! I've attached a couple pics of my whip! I couldn't be happier!!! read more
