You can calculate everything before you pay because it's all clearly listed in-store and on their website, and as long as you tell them exactly what you want done that price does not move. It's crazy to think that's some special characteristic, but unfortunately there are way too many scammers and liars saturating the repair market. Now this place is pretty small and boutique in nature. I like the emphasis on thoroughness. There are three carports and it's on a small lot, so don't expect to have your car worked on immediately unless you are getting a minimal service (oil change). We needed a lot done, so the husband arrived early @8AM for an appt he set online and told the young man working what we needed done (100k mile tune-up, brake replacement, and a few other things). He was very transparent about needing to order parts, so he told him to come back at 3PM. We arrived around 3:15PM and had another 15min wait, but our tech gave us some water while we waited in their small, minimalist lobby (three chairs and their checkout desk). I give extra points for being done around the time when he said he would. Shortly after we arrived he took us out to the bay, explained what he did and what we needed to keep an eye on. I really appreciated that he addressed what needed to be immediately fixed yet paused on what we could sit on for a bit. We were not sold any false sense of urgency and the entire experience was quite black and white. Perfect for us. Now, Dad's doesn't do super complex car repairs or body work, and they are very transparent about that. You can definitely give them a call beforehand to see if they can work on what you need. Their prices are quite fair, and the workmanship is of great quality. Don't expect any overly-friendly or outgoing mechanic though... but I honestly appreciate business-forward bluntness in this industry way more than any false pleasantries.

I called up this morning, out of the blue to see if they had time to change out a battery terminal connector that I wasn't able to get unstuck myself. Not only was the truck in and out in less than an hour, but the work was personally taken care of by the owner; who also pointed out that my old battery was due to be replaced. In addition he checked all the fluids, and topped off the radiator and reservoir. Thanks again Uriel! I'll be able to go camping and fishing this weekend without worrying about my truck cranking up when it's time to leave the woods.

This is the reason so many of us in the neighborhood returned over & again. With out correct Leadership how quickly the fall. They now resemble jackals. Battery wasn't the issue when the truck arrived. Since I just recently purchased a new one four months prior. Car simply wouldn't turn over i attempted multiple times back to back for 2 days turning the ignition on, every time it was trying but gas wouldn't get thru. Diagnose was fuel pump $950, fuel module $250, I researched it ahead ot time it was more than likely the module. I ask for my parts they had to check to mk sure that they hadn't been picked up for recycling, oh and I had to pay a core charge. I said no problem. Marcus then preceded to print out the bill, in which I saw ( my partner gave the ok) the price of the cable which was in perfect condition, they told my partner that it need to be replaced as well as the battery. I said hold up I just bought that battery i want it back it's under warranty plus I can use it in my trailer for the hitch. No problem I was told but I had to pay a core. Scratch my head for min & said okay no problem I will pay. After checking with an employee who came out to the desk I was told that the battery was there, then he came back in and said they had already picked them up this morning. They didn't know to replace it until after they alerted us of the battery issue, which was that same morning around 10:45 a.m. My fuel tank is slow to take gas for the second time of going to this location. I know in my heart tomorrow when I take it back to them they will have the remedy for 300 to 500. As I looked it up already. They are clogging my line in the hopes of us being suckerd in so they can lift the tank in the air, push in one area that they clogged. I despise this place for the molestation of our elderly. women & anyone else that these Jackal may see. One owner truck from dealership to them. YOU HAVE BEEN WORN. DONT TRADE PLACES WITH WHERE WE HAVE BEEN.!!!

I brought…read moremy vehicle in for diagnosis of an ongoing "Engine Maintenance Required" issue and paid a diagnostic fee. I was told the problem was due to the original filters that came with the car, so they replaced both the engine air filter and cabin air filter. However, the actual issue with the vehicle was not properly identified or resolved. After the unprofessional service, the "Engine Maintenance Required" message continued to appear on my dashboard, and I was not given a clear explanation for why it was still showing. I still had to take the vehicle elsewhere for a proper evaluation and diagnosis. I would advise others to be cautious with this shop, as in my experience they did not address the root cause of the problem and focused mainly on basic maintenance without resolving the actual issue.

They were the only shop of four or five…read moremechanics who could fit me in last minute on a Saturday afternoon and get my car back the same day. I brought them a two page readout from an express oil change place I'd used just for my oil change. The guys at Almost Auto Service were kind enough to check out my car for any routine maintenance and repairs as well as walk me through why the recommended services from the express place were largely made up to drive up the bill. In the end, all I needed was a new air filter. Can't recommend them enough for the honest, friendly, and quick service.

When I contacted the shop, they did everything but accept responsibility. The manager, Sonny, acted like a gorilla and refused to stop screaming into the phone. A real class act. I talked to the owner who said I should sue them, but I'm too poor to do so. Please don't take your vehicles here. Now my father, a cancer patient, is without his truck and I'm trying to get him mobile so he can make appointment. A real classic act. These people are crooks, short and simple. And Sonny, you should have left that attitude in prison.
