On Sunday, July 26, 2026, I took my vehicle to the Firestone location at 5101 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32808. After a diagnostic test, I was advised that the issue was with the ECM and that it needed to be reprogrammed. I paid approximately $450 for the service, and my vehicle appeared to be running properly when I picked it up. The following day, while traveling back to Georgia, the battery warning light came back on. This was the same warning light I had experienced before the ECM was reprogrammed. I was advised by a Firestone representative that I could visit another Firestone location for assistance. I therefore went to the Firestone location at 1031 Mount Zion Rd, Morrow, GA 30260. Unfortunately, the technician immediately advised me that I would have to pay again for a diagnostic and would not attempt to review my service history or inspect the vehicle before requesting payment. I find this extremely disappointing. I understand that additional repairs may be necessary, and I am willing to pay for legitimate repairs. However, I do not believe I should have to pay another diagnostic fee when the same issue returned within a day of paying Firestone approximately $450 to address it. My family has been loyal Firestone customers for more than 30 years, so this experience was particularly disappointing and does not reflect the level of service I have come to expect from Firestone. I am requesting that corporate review this matter and allow my vehicle to be re-diagnosed at no additional diagnostic charge. I would also appreciate a review of the service performed in Orlando and how my concerns were handled at the Morrow location. I am simply asking Firestone to stand behind the service I already paid for and help determine why the same issue has returned. Thank you for your prompt attention. BEWARE!! I am not one to leave negative reviews about establishments unless they have really…read moredeserved it. I went in last Friday to get an oil change and to have my evaporation control canister replaced. I noticed the next day that there was an oil leak in my driveway. Mind you, I take very good care of my vehicle when it comes to maintenance needed and I had no leaks prior going to their shop. I monitored the leak the rest of the weekend and I called first thing this morning to let them know that I noticed I had a leak. The lady who answered the phone, Mari, told me that she remembered the guy who worked on my car telling her about a leak and for me to come in so she can show me. I overlooked my paperwork and saw that in the section where it stated inspect for oil leaks, there were no comments. I also recalled when I picked up my vehicle and asked her how was everything, she told me that everything was fine. When I went down there, she had my vehicle raised and she showed me where the leak was coming from and said it was from the area near the rack and pinion. When I asked her why she did not notify me about the leak when I inquired about my car and why wasn't there any comments in the section on my paperwork for inspecting oil leaks, she told me that the guy forgot to put it on the paper and she forgot to tell me when I came to pick up my vehicle and asked her how everything was. When I asked to speak to the owner of the establishment, she looked at me and smiled and said that she was the owner. Long story short, she told me that they didn't do anything wrong and I ended up leaving without any resolution. I am very disappointed about the service I received from this establishment and I will definitely never be returning for any service at all!
