I paid 170 for a diagnosis on my car just for them to tell me a lie and try to take 1058 dollars out of me when the fix is only 300 dollars!! read more

This place is overpriced and so unprofessional. I'll never go back there again. They tried to sell me all this stuff that I didn't even need. All I needed was an oil change and then they try to say I need all new tires and new brake pads. Are you kidding me?!! THE CAR WAS NEW! So I tell them to only do the oil change and they charged me $75!!!! Worst place ever. read more

Went to get my car fixed! Oil change and fresh brakes in less than two hours. Highly recommend!! Super friendly staff!

Got 4 new tires and needed an alignment. Place where I get tires doesn't do alignments but referred me to Precision. With the referral I would get a discount. Cool. Went there asked for the price of the 4 wheel alignment...they said $89...so I showed them my referral and they said it would be $69 plus tax. Cool. While I was there I noticed that each person getting service was told something else was wrong with their car and they each was recommended to get additional services. Before my car was done, I was told that I needed a tune up...which I agreed but decided not to get...but was also told that my brake lines needed immediately to be bleed and that they could tell from my CarFax history that I never had it done. My liedar went off. I declined and said I would just continue with only the alignment. When my car was ready and I paid the $69 plus tax $75, I asked to confirm if they aligned all 4 wheels. He said No...that I only needed a 2 wheel alignment. But, I said...I paid for a 4 wheel alignment....and he said no....and that their normal price for the alignments had been decreased because of the pandemic...liedar went off again. Place is shady...I would not recommend and will never return. read more

I went into Precision Tune on Pamplico Hwy on Thursday (1-14-21) afternoon because my brake light came on. The manager told me he could do a brake inspection and could install brake pads Friday (1-15-21)morning and give me a ride to work and pick me up from work because my employer was a few miles away from his facility. The brake inspection cost $40, ridiculous. I just moved to Florence and I have no one to pick me up if I leave my car on the way to work and I told the manager this information on 1-14-21. When I arrived early today (1-15-21), the manager stated he could take me to work, but couldn't pick me up, I replied "that's not what you said yesterday". He stated he was sorry, but he had no one to pick me up. I'm a bit confused because I told him yesterday that I had no one to help me. Precision Tune has my $40, but it is the last money he will ever have of mine. If you plan on doing business with this company, get everything in writing because they will lie and steal your money. It's such a shame that a company can take advantage of people, but it is a lesson learned. Good news is I have an appointment with a reputable company to have my brake pads replaced in the the morning on my day off. read more

Needed brakes for my car so I went to Precision Tune. They recommended aligning all 4 tires, turning the rotors and ceramic pads. This recommendation was the premium brake job that would outlast the basic brake job. I agreed to the recommendations and had the work done. 20,000 miles later i had to have brakes worked on again I went back to Precision Tune since the work they did was suppose to be under warranty but they made excuses and did not honor the warranty of the work they recommended. $650 later i had my second brake job done. Guess what 15000 miles later I needed another brake job this time I went to Jones's $300 brake job and 30000 miles later my car's brakes are fine. Precision Tune, over priced and poor workmanship! read more

This Precision Tune location is a get over!!! I sent my daughter who is a college student there to get an oil change because we frequent the one in Rock Hill SC which is great....they charged her $54.00 for a basic oil change stating that the oil change it self is $39.99 and she has to have a special filter which is a $10.00 markup. I advised Chrissy that was not true and that we frequent the one in Rock Hill and has never paid over $30.00 for an oil change let alone a mark up for a "special filter", her reply was simply we are all independently owned and charge different. I will never do business with this location again!!! read more

I took my car to Precision Tune on Irby St. in Florence, SC for an oil change. The lady at the desk had no idea I was a knowledgeable mechanic. While the car was on the lift she came to the waiting area with a white piece of cloth. She said, " Would you look at this ! Your transmission fluid and filter really need changing !" On one side of the white cloth she had a few drops of transmission fluid and on the other side she had what appeared to be fresh motor oil. She tried to convince me that the motor oil was My transmission fluid. This was her underhanded ploy to " GET Me !" I just said, no thanks." She then proceeded to try and convince me that the brake fluid lines needed "flushing." It was really starting to get a little hillarious ! I proceeded on back home and pulled the check stick for the transmission fluid. It was as purple (correct color) as brand new transmission fluid ! Just as I knew it would be. I told a friend my story and he said they had tried the same dishonest tactics on him ! I feel sorry for the public in the Florence area that go to Precision Tune. I give Precision Tune in Florence, " 5 STARS " in the category of RIP-OFF ARTIST ! John Q. Public please steer clear of this franchise . You have been warned . read more
