I'm a newbie BMW owner, with an 07 Z4. I enjoy doing my own work on my vehicles but was skeptical…read moreabout wrenching on a BMW until I had it checked by these guys, who came highly recommended by a co-worker. They checked the car and posted a complete evaluation with pictures online detailing what work was needed. What I really liked though was the tech adviser completely understanding why I wanted to do 2 of the 4 jobs myself to save some cash, and did not lay a guilt trip on me for letting them not do all the things needed. Nice! The adviser was willing to talk tech with me, and was not dismissive of my knowledge like a certain Jeep dealer I reviewed awhile back. All in all these guys will work with you and are knowledgable and considerate.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!! Went in for a check engine light, was told it would…read morebe about an hour, so I decided to wait. SIX HOURS LATER, yes sitting in their waiting room the whole time, asked if it was ready. The lady said yes, we ran a check engine light test and a smoke test, those both came back clear, So here are the recommendations of what MIGHT get the light to turn off. The grand total of what they think MIGHT be the problem is over $4,000. In the meantime the total for the tests that showed absolutely nothing was over $350. Definitely taking advantage of customers that do not know the reason their light was on. Customer Service never once checked in to let me know the tests were still being performed, never mentioned the smoke test was going to take over 4 hours (which should have only taken less than 2 hours), never once mentioned she was sorry this was taking so long, never once said thank you for your patience. Wow just wow!!

They fix the problem and don't find new ones in the process. AAA approved. Good service. Helpful, respectful guys. I stopped in here one morning about a puddle I was seeing underneath my car. They couldn't get me in the garage that day, but Scott came out and looked around to make sure I was good to drive around. Came back in a day or two later and they got my car up, did the work I asked for, inspected a few things, and gave me a good price. They even suggested I come back in a week later to make sure there were no more leaks. They took a look at no charge.

They took my car apart and told me about 4 different things that needed to be fixed that had nothing to do with what is wrong with it. They priced it at $497, and when we told them we didn't have that much to spend because we already knew what was wrong and what it should cost us they told us it would still be 3 hours before our car was ready because they had to "put it back together" and the dude working on it was on a lunch break... so without even getting any service done they took 4 hours and charged us $119 just to tell us what the alleged "problem" was... they have no idea what they are doing and they are very rude and lazy.

I had a transmission fault and had my car towed to Mr. Cool's to get it diagnosed and fixed. They…read moregot me in incredibly quickly, were very kind, and were in-depth in explaining the problem. The repairs would have been more than the car was worth, so I declined them, and they were very understanding of me leaving the car there for a few days while I waited to tow it out. They did not charge for the diagnostics. I will be taking any future problems with my AC, transmission, or brakes here first.

Ok. I have a transmission issue…read more Brought it in to determine the root-cause. They found an old (not cleared) thermostat problem that I fixed a year ago. It didn't totally close, thus not allowing the Cat o get up to temperature quickly enough. I replaced for $25 and 45 minutes, easy. Check-engine light disappeared. But obviously the code locked in. And also they said I needed a full replacement transmission. Which I don't deny may be required. , sorta. I am 71 years old, done professional car work since 17. The ONLY reason I am not doing this myself is age. But that said, before I would tear down anything I would already know what component is bad. A valve, cam sensor, etc. My symptoms are of a valve-body stuck valve, causing the clutch(s) to not fully engage. Thus I wanted a more concise explanation for why I should give them $5,000 - $6,000 to replace the entire Xmission. I really should have had a talk with the trained mechanic that could go into depth about the detailed reason it is giving me problems. But I got the worker at the register explaining the estimate to me. I have 100% confidence she has ZERO true mechanical knowledge/training past what to say. She should have called the Tech to talk to me. Had that happened I would have set an appointment to have it replaced. But given the weak thermostat ($330) ghost diag, I had zero confidence about the rest of their work. Reminds me of "give a kid a hammer and everything looks like a nail".
