Two days ago I dropped in for an oil change and asked to have my alignment check. My car had been pulling to the left a little. Jesse found the alignment was fine but my tire pressures were imbalanced. No charge for the alignment check and correcting my tire pressures! I highly recommend this Midas shop. read more

Visited on 07/14/2026 for my Nissan Rogue Heating Issue and met Isiah and my problem was solved to my satisfaction. I called back the next day for overcharge in labor charges and i got a reply that those were the charges and people working there have families (sure others have animals to feed) This is what i was charged Part Cost Labour Radiator Fan motor $692.99 $407.98 (Fair) Thermostat $67.99 $235.19 (Whoa) Valvoline Coolant $7.99 63.93 (What to pour the Coolant). My error not asking for a Estimate in writing neither was i offered one, They Told me about a 3-year warranty, bout that i guess time will tell. Overall great work and repairs but Guys ask for an estimate before to avoid surprises like 65 bucks to pour coolant in the radiator. read more

I went to perform a balancing of 4 wheels + alignment on our car. (The car still vibrates at highway speed after the balancing, it's better than it was but still not good.) I waited in their waiting room, the work was done surprisingly fast, when i talked to Isaiah the manager to pay i asked for the alignment report. He said they were out of ink, and couldn't provide one. After more talking back and forth he went to the bay where the work was performed, and came back with a cellphone image of the alignment that had been performed. I took a picture of the report he showed me. The next day i decided to actually look closer on the report on my phone, zoomed in and now i noticed that the vehicle on this report is a Chevy Truck, and the date was 4/21/2026. I was there on the 4/27th. The only reasonable conclusion i can come up with is, the alignment on my vehicle was probably never done, he had this picture on his phone taken almost a week earlier, to show possible inquiring customers as 'proof' that the work had been done on their vehicles. The text was so small that i could not make that out initially when he showed me the report on his phone. I want back and showed Isaiah the receipt i have, not matching the work that was supposedly done and asked for a refund for the alignment. He refused to give a refund and was instead offering to put the car back on the lift and redo it or somehow show that the work had been done, which I in turn declined. I don't trust these people at this point, and there is no way for him to show after the fact, that any alignment work was actually performed. No honest self respecting business would come up with a Mickey Mouse reason of having no ink, and then show a fraudulent 'proof' of work cell-phone image. I can only imagine how many of these happy customers on these reviews were actually charged for work never performed. I won't be back! read more

They made an appointment for me four days before I brought the car in. It is a collector car, 1936 Auburn and a question whether or not they wanted me to put the car on the rack myself since the car was a classic. They informed me that their insurance didn't allow customers to put cars on the rack. I told them that if anyone damaged the car because of its age, I would seek legal action. because of this, I was told the mechanic declined to look at the car at all. I'm very upset because I made an appointment to have someone look at it. They saw the car before I brought it in and they still refused to look at it and take responsibility for damaging my car. I will never darken the door of Midas muffler again. On top of this, the receptionist not only was very rude, but she had a dog that growled at customers when she left the room in a very menacing manner If my muffler is looking to get sued, they have all the elements in that dealership at the 10,000 block of Kingston Pike read more

Was in Knoxville to visit my UTK child and my serpentine belt shredded due to a failed pulley and tensioner. By pure luck, the Midas on Kingston Pike was closest to my hotel. Every single person, from the lady at the desk to the mechanics could NOT have been more professional, expedient and helpful. The car was fixed quickly and for a great price. The level of customer service was excellent and above and beyond anything I've experienced in the last decade. Driving a brand new SUV (less than 2,000 miles!), and in Knoxville for a holiday weekend, the brakes started intermittently making a really odd noise. I have a huge problem with your knoxville midas location bilking me out of $1000 repair & $70 tow that took over a month. My car stalled and i had it towed to Midas where i was told it was my fuel pump and no one in the country had any so i would have to get a used one! Ok that cost us $1000 through SNAP finance we are paying $300 or so a month in addition to paying our car payment of $313 for a vehicle we could not use for almost 2 months. We went to pick up the car and it would not start and the hood was open. They did something i think jump started it and it got us home they said it was fine because they tested the battery after they jump started it. Well it went on one little ride and sat in my driveway unable to start. Your location there told us they would order a new fuel pump, it was weeks of calling and no response from them. Then we find out its under new management. I had to pay $67 to tow it back to midas in Knoxville and the new management say's basically too bad we had to eat this used fuel pump blah blah. So again we pick it up and it sat in my driveway not able to start which the first time i tried starting it the car screen said "key fob not found" your mr smarty pants sarcastic manager in Knoxville says "we didn't touch your keyfob" umm I'm female and treating me like i am ignorant was extremely sexist and upsetting. Well guess what it turned it was the BATTERY ALL ALONG! We replaced it today because we are on fixed incomes therefore could not afford to buy one til today. Turns out it was the original 2016 battery which the auto parts store said any mechanic should have realized. Makes me think that was the problem all along because if the battery was bad the fuel pump obviously would show it was not working! I am extremely irate and refuse to speak to manager and i asked him for his boss and he said he is the only boss! I want a refund or i will look at my options to report this location for fraud! read more

Great service. They fixed a issue with my car at a very good price. My back tire kept going flat and the other tire store I went to just kept saying I needed a new tire and the rim sealed it cost over 1000 dollars. I stopped by Midas and they said the real issue was a badly bent rim I found the rim and they put it on for me at no charge. Great place and a great staff. read more

I waited 45 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. Not bad, considering I've had worse and waited for hours on end for doing something that's pretty simple. They had a nice waiting room, but I think next time I'm going to be going in the garage to watch them do my oil change just so I know my car isn't messed with. (That's just for me though) They were very friendly and I didn't have any problem with the service or anything there. I made an appt. for my car and drove almost an hour and half to get here. They kept my car all day and did not even look at it. With an appt, it should be a priority! I had to call 3 times to check in because they didn't even contact me. This is the second time they have done this to me. They did some previous work for me which totaled $2400. I have been a good customer but now they have lost me! Apparently they don't care though because they have enough to keep them busy already. This place was a joke ! They are lazy and rude . Wanted to charge me $650 to put brake pads on my car ! I went in to have them check a low tire and they plugged the tire and charged me $61.13 and then proceeded to tell me that i need a alignment and brake pads all the way around my car . I made the appointment to have them check my tire for the second time since they did not fix it the first time and when i showed up for appointment they said i would have to come back because they just took on 2 more customers! I'm terrible about waiting until last minute/almost too late to get repairs/maintenance done on my car. Wednesday I was preparing to leave town for CO and realized I forgot to call my uncle that always does my breaks, to do my breaks. I called Midas Wednesday morning and was told to bring my car in - they're the only shop in knoxville that was willing to immediately fit me in (even over the dealership)! After taking a look at my car I was told I'd need new rotors on top of breaks as mine were beyond being able to be resurfaced. The owner worked hard to make sure my car got fixed as quickly as possible, same day, and accurately so I could get on the road safely! My phone started to die as I was waiting and he even grabbed his own phone charger so I could use it. Definitely went above and beyond to help me and I couldn't be more grateful! Currently writing this review in my hotel room in CO, and if it weren't for such great work I never would've made it, especially in this snow! read more

This shop has had my business for several years. Prior to finding Midas, I had tried a lot of area auto shops with mixed results. Usually my disappointment came from them not understanding customers, nor the importance of keeping them. This Midas gets it. Gouging customers for a quick buck pushes them away. I have taken my vehicle here a few times before and they did great work and the staff are always pleasant and friendly. However, most recently they referred me to AAMCO because they believed I had a transmission issue with my vehicle. AAMCO got back to me within a day and told me Midas had no idea what they were talking about because my transmission was operating perfectly, and referred me to Mighty Muffler for an exhaust manifold issue. Turns out either someone attempted to steal my catalytic converter or it simply came loose during everyday driving. They tightened a few bolts, replaced the gaskets, and sent me on my way for under $120. Both AAMCO and Mighty Muffler had no idea how Midas could miss something like that. So be warned, they may tell you that something as simple as a few loose bolts could be an astronomical issue, like a transmission replacement. read more

I do not recommend this repair shop. Picked up a slip on the counter with information about my vehicle and the parts for my car totaled $44, however on my receipt it tripled to 124.00. Plus the valve gaskets they claim to repair on my vehicle is still leaking oil. I took it back to them and they did not use a flashlight to check for leaking. It cost me $420 and they would not take the time to check it properly. They have no integrity and not thorough. read more

I went to this Midas this morning for the special deal on oil change. The guy at the desk later rejected to serve my car by saying I had too many tissues inside my car and worry about COVID19. I did not say a word and left. On my way out, I questioned myself - to do oil change is a job outside the car body and not working in the car interior. I had my car checked out by three other companies before I brought it to Midas. The other places wanted to charge me between $750 and $1200 for a catalytic converter, but I wanted to check Midas just to see if they could offer anything better. Jesse let me look under my car, showed me the part, and explained exactly what would be replaced and why it would need to be replaced. And he said he would only charge $450! Then he test drove my car and concluded that it was running just fine and probably didn't even need the part yet. His guess was that the check engine light had come on for a different reason, so he cleared the check engine light and told me to call him back if it came on again in a couple weeks. That was two months ago, and the check engine light never came back on! I almost threw away $1200 at a different location to fix a part that didn't even need to be replaced! Excellent service as always! As usual, they went above and beyond. Our AC wasn't cooling too great and was cycling on/off. Also, the power steering was a little stiff. They serviced the AC...checked for leaks...found a bad valve but instead of charging us to replace the entire assembly, Carlos and his team installed a replacement valve for FREE! Then, they polished our headlights...also for FREE! AC is working great and powersteering is flawless! I highly recommend these guys for your next service. read more

I was on a long road trip and had been experiencing a strong vibration in my car at approximately 70mph which had made the trip very unpleasant. I decided to have it fixed upon arriving in Knoxville. I tried a couple of places and was told it would be a few hour wait. When I arrived here, I was greeted immediately by the manager, Paul. Paul told me he would clear a spot to get it in right away. Before Paul even had my paperwork complete, Jonathan was pulling it in to work on it, All 4 tires ended up being out of balance. They had it fixed and had me back on the road in less than 45 minutes. Both Paul and Jonathan were very friendly. The waiting room is one of the nicest that I have ever seen in an auto repair facility.
