They took great care of me, and got my seats m cleaned. Other places were trying to get me to buy more and more services to the point it would cost $300 instead of $50. I have taupe cloth interior so he was upfront how they would come out. I'm super glad I went here and had this done. My seats were looking really rough. The guy is super friendly and honest. read more

My wife recently bought a used black Tesla. The paint had been badly swirl-marked, and all four wheels had been curbed. We brought the car to Knox Details. John and the staff were wonderfully polite and helpful. The went to work on the car. We first saw it with the paint polished to a mirror finish and the wheels redone like new. We then had it XPEL clear-wrapped and ceramic coated. When we got the car back, it was as gorgeous and shiny as a new piano. Exceptional work, first-rate wrap and ceramic coating materials, and truly nice, interested people. read more

I've been in the car business for 28 years and I can say without a doubt that Tim Buxton/Knox details is the best place to go if you want your car to get the best possible protection. They are precise and professional. They communicated with me and gave me a fair price. I'm extremely pleased with the service they provided. read more

Highly recommended. They were very clear on communication, pricing and expectations. We had them do a ceramic coat on our new car and we couldn't be happier. read more

Tim & the crew at Knox Details are top notch when it comes to detailing & PPF. We have had 4 cars cared for Knox Details & always know the job will be done right! read more

Can't say enough good things about Tim and the crew at Knox Details. Brought my '96 Corvette Grand Sport to them to clear-shield the front bumper and wrap-around, rocker panels below the curve line, and rear bumper below the curve line. We wound up deciding on him custom-cutting the front bumper, as the standard kit for this generation Corvette didn't cover the entire area I wanted protected. His work is absolutely flawless--if he didn't show me, I probably would never be able to tell the clear shielding was on the car. To top it all off, I asked him to do the ceramic coating and detailing. Their prep work on this 24-year old car was virtually surgical in its thoroughness, precision, and detail. My car looks like her finish is dripping wet!!! Great communication throughout the process, and the finished product is absolutely mint. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Had them do a partial PPF (paint protection film) on my Hyundai Elantra N. Everyone we talked to was super friendly. The owner, Tim, walked us through what kind of work we wanted done and made sure all of my needs were met. After picking up the car we were given a walk through of the final result and it really exceeded my expectations. It looks great and now I have some peace of mind with my new car! Thanks Knox Details! read more

I show my car at local car shows and after years of washing it incorrectly I had swirl marks all over the car, Tim and his crew paint corrected and ceramic coated the car and I was blown away by the high level of care and workmanship they put into making my car look as good as it possibly could. read more

Knox Details - Tim and his crew did a fantastic job paint correcting and ceramic coating my car. I could not be happier with the work that they did. - Auto Detailing Near Me - Knoxville, Tennessee

These guys are the real deal. I brought in my new 2020 Mazda6 to get some protection for the fragile soul red paint. Tim recommended a partial front PPF. He is clearly extremely knowledgable, and discussed all of the pros and cons of PPF and ceramic coats with me. I also opted for a ceramic coat and ceramic tint. Tim gave me a very good price for this set of services, especially considering the professional high quality workmanship and prep work that these guys put into every car. They even went out of their way to get a touch up pen and fix a chip in the paint that had already developed. Throughout the process, they communicated with me, and even offered to keep my car for an extra day and let me pick it up on a Sunday (when they're typically closed) due to rain on the scheduled pickup date to prevent messing up the new coat and film. When I picked up my car I was absolutely blown away by how good it looked. It looked even better than it did on the showroom floor when I bought it. Even though my car was parked next to much more expensive Porsches, Maseratis, etc., you can tell that they give every care the same level of attention, detail, and care. I would HIGHLY recommend Knox Details for any paint correction, PPF, ceramic coats, or tints. read more

My daughter's car was in a parking deck for several weeks in August and unknown to us there was a leak from the heater core under the dash. Since the car had been sitting, mold formed and rapidly spread throughout the car. Called several detailers in the Knoxville area and no one would touch it or even recommend anyone. Found Knox Details through a detailer in Nashville and they were top notch to work with. The battery was also dead, so the dilemma of what to do first. Tim at Knox Details advised us what to do, was able to recommend a mechanic and took on the nasty job of getting the mold out of the car. They also worked with our insurance company since they were slow to respond to us and their slowness equaled more mold! Thanks to Tim and Knox Details for a job well done. Knox Detail is easily the best detail shop I have ever used. They took my ten year old Porsche 987 and brought it back to an ultra slick incredibly deep black shine. The only surprise.....a level of service and performance well beyond my expectations. read more

Made an appointment a week in advance. When I arrived, there was one employee who is fairly new and was not able to reach the owner. Waited 30 minutes... Wasted my valuable time... I left a voicemail and no return yet. Bad business... read more

Fantastic work! They not only did an excellent job with the interior and exterior detail in general, they somehow got years of dog hair out and managed to make the windows in my soft top usable again! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Tim and the team at Knox Details. I traveled from Atlanta, GA to have him take care of my vehicle. I can't say enough about how great the customer experience was and how pleased I am with the end product. My vehicle received XPEL Ultimate on the entire front end of the vehicle and various other sections. I also decided on the Modesta BC-04 coating, which was applied to the painted surfaces and BC-06 to the wheels and calipers. The car is absolutely stunning! I would HIGHLY recommend Knox Details for your auto detailing needs! read more

Have had Tim and his team work their magic on two of my cars. The customer service, products used, attention to detail, and results were incredible. Simply the best. I will be back..... read more

Tim does not back his products. Not only was he extremely rude but when I asked questions about the products he used for tinting and about the warranty provided he said "since we have asked questions he feels as if it is better to not do service with us." Thank you for saving us the headache of working with you Tim. I hope my review will steer someone else to a business that backs their products! read more

I had an excellent experience working with Tim at Knox Details! The scheduling was convenient, Tim and the staff over at Knox Details were very welcoming and professional, and I got the impression that I came to the right place once I walked in the door -- first impressions are important! I recently purchased an E90 BMW 330i and it had a dent in the driver's door. The auto dealer did repair the dent fairly well, but they did not detail the door after they worked on it! Very frustrating since I bought the car out of state and did not have time for them to detail it, and the door was an even bigger eye sore with the cosmetic damage they caused getting the dent out! Tim at Knox Details detailed the interior and exterior of my car. I also decided to have him install the new 3M crystalline windshield film. In short, the detailing job was phenomenal! I can BARELY tell that a dent ever existed! It's literally 99% back to looking brand new, if not better with how shiny, smooth, and perfect the rest of the car looks. The 3M crystalline film was only installed on my windshield because I already had tint on my other windows, but the drive is noticeably more comfortable in terms of reducing heat inside the car while driving. Of course, the car is still hot when I get in it after leaving in parked out in the July sun all day while at work, but once you start driving it cools off quicker and stays cool and comfortable in the cabin more easily. Highly recommend! read more
