Thought I'd have to toss the not-very-expensive serrated knife that had dulled beyond usefulness. Thought I'd give this place a try as they said they could sharpen the knife without losing the serration profile. Shawn was very nice and very helpful (especially for such a small job), and had it finished in a couple of minutes, although I wasn't in any rush and expected I'd have to drop it off and come back. We use these guys to sharpen our kitchen knives but these seem to do everything with an edge. Usually a day or two to get our knives back and I think different tools require more time. Finding a sharpening service in Albuquerque that would take kitchen knives was not easy. I emailed precision sharpening and Shawn promptly responded with a list of their prices and about how long the work would take. I took my entire kitchen knife set in and they turned them around faster than they originally thought. I received each knife back neatly wrapped in paper with a protective coating on the new edges. I took my dog clipper blades to Cutting Edge in Santa Fe but when they were returned, they wouldn't fit on my clipper anymore. I asked Cutting Edge to take a look at them and they just refunded my money without even trying to solve the problem. So I brought the blades and my clipper down to Precision Sharpening. The fellow behind the desk dropped what he was doing, took a look at the blades and realized that Cutting Edge had installed the base backwards.
