I dropped off these wall lamps on Friday and was hoping they could have them done in time for my wife's birthday (Monday) I asked Jorge if there was any way they could have them done by then.. Wow! This place.... So All they had to do was sand blast a muffler. I asked them to mask off the chrome tips, a badge and the flange in order to keep the sand out. They blasted the tips, badge and there's about a cup of sand inside the muffler now that won't easily come out. I was pretty mad when I saw this and the guy immediately became confrontational saying that he had followed the instruction exactly as I had said. I don't know what else to say. I'm out the money for the "work" and it cost me twice as much to repair the damages. Think twice about using this place or better yet steer clear all together. (Pix attaches) read more

I recommend shopping around rather coming here. The reason is that while the powder coating work is "okay" it will cost you additional time and money to fix or re-do damage done due to lack of prep work or they're not following directions on commons sense issues. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The shop is dirty and unorganized, but had a high YELP rating so I decided to give it a try. I dropped a valve cover off to be powder coated gray. The color ID was denoted on the invoice but when I picked it up the first time, it came back white. The owner/manager insisted that this was the color I had picked out, but could see I was not happy, so offered to re-do it at a reduced cost. When he pulled up the invoice to add to it, he realized the color was actually incorrect and re-coated it at no charge. I wish that was a a happy ending to a good customer service story. The shop was pretty busy so it took another week to get this done. This set back a project that I was working on so it was inconvenient, but what can you do? The big issue was that in prepping the valve cover they did not mask off the underside of the part which mean gobs of sand went into the oil baffles. They didn't even try to blow it out until I complained about it. Of course, this was a waste of time because the sand was now baked into the underside of the cover which meant parts needed to be drilled out and thoroughly cleaned before they could be used again. I'm glad I caught their mistake because it would have been very costly otherwise. read more
