I booked my tax prep appointment one month out from our consultation appointment for her to file my taxes. I left feeling so relieved, so confident in her services and professionalism. This has been something big on my to do list. Very overwhelmed. Fast forward to today, Jenni no call-no showed my appointment. I made sure my entire Saturday was open and clear ahead of this appointment. Spent my entire morning preparing for this appointment. I had to call her phone number multiple times. Both the 510 and 209 area code numbers (which is it?). She answered and had no recollection of our scheduled appointment. I was baffled. I got a disingenuous apology and an offer from her to wait 10 minutes while she rushed over to the appointment. "Well what would you like to do?" I lost complete confidence in that moment. I am baffled and totally disappointed. Mistakes happen but this was really upsetting, particularly because I am in such a vulnerable position as a new business owner - which we thoroughly discussed during our consultation in April. Lost a new client from this that probably would've been loyal for years to come - and that would've referred her clients. Now I have to rush to find a new tax preparer with limited time or availability, for myself and in considering there are roughly 2 weeks before taxes are due. I'll probably just go back to my TurboTax pro lady, which is ironic after Jenni made a point during our consultation to avoid them however possible. Unbelievable.

Told me they were unsure of what to do with a portion of my documents, so they said they would get back to me and never did. When I reached out to ask if they had finally submitted it, they asked for an additional $160 (adding on $20 for some reason..?) until I reminded them (for the 3rd time) that I had already paid them over 6 months prior. Didn't include write offs ($700 for car donation). I paid HUNDREDS more in fees and miscalculations by coming here than I would have if I just filed myself. Horrible mistake on my part.

Despite being told my 2019 tax returns were handled and filed by Jonathan (See photo), I discovered in 2024 via an IRS letter that they were never actually filed. After confirming this with the IRS, I had to hire a CPA to resolve the issue, resulting in significant penalties and interest. Also spending time and effort for this mess. I spent a lot of time speaking with the IRS many times. Avoid this company at all costs. I dealt with Jonathan, Samantha, Silvia, and Mason, all of whom were unresponsive and unprofessional. After dozens of calls and emails, they finally refunded my filing fee ($1500) but refused to cover the heavy penalties and interest their negligence and obvious fault caused me. I hired the lawyer to file lawsuit and will also report them to the IRS. I am also in contact with other victims of not filing (listed below) to join my lawsuit. My lawyer told me that they had multiple businesses with bad reviews and reputations in LA before they started business in Norand California. Don't let them scam you too. AVOID HERE.
