I do my own taxes every year because I'm single and have one job and it's easy by going online and doing it through Turbo Tax or some other tax service but this year it's a little complicated because I took out some money from my 401k and didn't want to take a chance with making mistakes and have to deal with the IRS so I decided to go to a professional tax preparer. I go to Yelp like I do with anything and called a few places that was on the list and none of them wanted to talk to me unless I make an appt. until I called Easy Tax Services in Hayward. Neal answered the call and not only was he friendly, he took time to answer my questions and didn't even pressure me to make an appt. or anything. All he said was that he'll take a look at my tax return and give me a quote and go from there. If I decide to use his service that's great and if not, no big deal. I went to see him after work and the address was easy to find and there were plenty of parking. The office was located upstairs and upon entering, the place is big and clean and not clutter at all. Neal and Lily (nice lady there) greeted me. I sat down at Lily's desk and she gave me an estimate and I thought it was reasonable and I can afford it so I decided to go with their service. The whole time I was watching TV and Lily worked on my tax return and 10 minutes later she was done. Neal and Lily were both so nice and easy to talk to and I felt like I knew them for a long time because they made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to get their taxes done right the first time. They are professionals, have many years of experience and will have your back if anything happens with the IRS or whatever. I trust them and will come back next year and the year after and so on.
