I wanted a second opinion and asked my dentist to send my records to Dr. Silver. On my first visit for a consultation, I was made to feel very comfortable by his front desk receptionist, Christine. (Actually Christine is a lot more than a receptionist. She is involved in every aspect of the office. SHE REALLY KEEPS IT RUNNING SMOOTHLY). Anyway, I waited less than 5 minutes before I saw the doctor. When I explained my problem, he gave me several possible options but what was viable naturally, couldn't be determined until after my exam and x-rays. Dr. Silver is amazing. His office is tastefully decorated and immaculate, as are the exam rooms. Love the coffee table books. The procedure was very involved and I needed an extraction and implant. Throughout the very involved process which took many visits, Dr. Silver kept me informed every step of the way. He made sure I was comfortable and his tecnicians are wonderful. This is a one doctor practice, which I prefer. You get to know the doctor and staff on a one on one basis. Dr. Silver has a very dry sense of humor which adds to the experience. I never thought that I would call going to a dental specialist an "experience" but that's how relaxed and comfortable this office makes you feel. Marianne, his tech is wonderful. The entire practice is so comfort oriented, that you almost forget you're at a dentist. Dr. Silver is also available for emergencies on Saturdays. Since I'm fortunate that I have no cavities, I go for regular cleanings and evaluations to keep me cavity free.

Hands down Dr. Fava and the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics have some of the best people in the Dentistry field. A little background, over the years I was hard on my front teeth and have experienced a ?few? traumatic episodes in which my real teeth and then dental bridge have been knocked out of my face. The trauma has resulted in the degradation of my remaining teeth that support my then existing dental bridge. Dr. Fava was tasked with removing the damaged teeth and replacing them with implants. I cannot thank Dr. Fava and his wonderful staff enough. Dr. Fava is better than great, he is fantastic! His knowledge and expertise in periodontics is astounding. Following a detailed explanation of the procedures and costs, Dr. Fava preformed the extraction, repaired my hard and soft tissue, and delivered top notch Straumann implants. I was sent to Dr. Figueroa by my dentist at Princeton…read more The problem was - a cracked tooth that needed extraction and implant placement thereafter. Upper left. I read all about implants and when I saw the doctor and spoke to him, he knew every single bit of information I was prepared to ask about. A smart gentlemen! He gave comprehensive and detailed information, no BS, just substance. Extraction was a breeze. Started with no-pain anesthesia (Raul is using a cool technique to make sure you don't feel pain from the needle). Tooth was out in no time. Bone graft in place. Stitches were placed so quickly I did not have time to notice (confident stitches are a sign of a very skilled surgeon). Healing was pain free. I did not use any pain meds and all pain was gone by day 3. Bone graft was installed perfectly and tooth was ready for implant in 3 months. Next, the implant. 3D scan, surgery on the same day, did not use pain meds at home, was pain-free after about 3 days. A week after placing the implant I felt my mouth free from any hints I had surgery. I am very impressed. Dr. Figueroa is a thinking surgeon with outstanding hands. A.K. My son's pediatric dentist, and my own dentist, both recommended Dr. Staller. He and his team were so wonderful during the initial consultation, I knew my son would be in great hands for the surgery, and he was. I don't even have the words to describe how excellent Dr. Staller and his team were. The front office staff and Dr. Staller's nurses were so patient, kind and accommodating, and Dr. Staller was so good to my son, taking every care to keep him comfortable, and explain everything to both of us before, during and after the surgery. He gave us his cell phone number for any after hours concerns (including meeting us at his office if we needed help on Christmas Day, even though the office was closed), and called a few hours after the surgery personally to check on my son, who was doing great. Disappointing Experience - We Will Not Be Returning…read more I'm writing to let you know that I will not be returning, and neither will my daughter. For me, customer service is everything. The poor experience started on our first visit. While I was in the bathroom, my daughter was taken to the back. When I came out, I wanted to check on her, so I asked a staff member walking by (unfortunately, I didn't get her name). Her response was rude and dismissive--asking if my daughter was over 18. I told her, "I don't care if my daughter is 28 or 38, I'm still going to make sure she's okay." Her attitude was completely uncalled for. Fast forward to my own appointment and who ends up helping me? The same woman. While she was polite this time, her body language made me feel unwelcome. That sets the tone for any experience. Then, during my X-rays, I noticed she pulled gloves out of her shirt pocket. That is not sanitary. She put them on and started touching the computer. I asked her to change her gloves before handling any sterile items. She said she would, but also explained she has to keep touching the mouse between shots. Her solution? She put a glove over the mouse. Honestly, that didn't reassure me. Thankfully, the cleaning went smoothly. Dominic was great, friendly, professional, and made me feel at ease. But then I was brought to the front desk. There were five employees up there, and I stood waiting while two patients were helped. After they left, I was still standing there... being ignored. When I mentioned I had to leave to pick up my daughter, I was told someone was "working on my file." But my chart was visibly sitting there untouched. I said to call me later. When I missed the call and phoned back, I was placed on hold and no one picked up. This kind of service is unacceptable. I refuse to go to a place where the staff act like they don't want to be there, especially when they're supposed to be caring for me as a patient. Because of this, we will not be returning.
