We moved here recently to the Kenosha area from Texas. We…read morehave a Giant Schnauzer & our groomer in Texas was phenomenal! I have seen groomers groom Giant Schnauzers to resemble features much like miniature schnauzer & that would be the last thing I would ever want for our girl! It always starts with the phone call... does the business actually even pick up a phone call or do they let it roll over to voicemail? How does the person on the other line sound? Do they sound cheerful? Do they sound like you're inconveniencing them? I am here to tell you that when Scarlett ANSWERED the phone, she was cheerful, kind & most of all helpful! (I called three other groomers in the Kenosha area and not one of those businesses picked up and they all rolled over to voicemail.) My first question to Scarlett was, "Do you have a groomer who is experienced with Giant Schnauzer's?" Her reply was an emphatic, YES! We met with our groomer & she was a great listener, she gave me tremendous confidence in her technical grooming abilities & she was very kind. Strudel had her big appointment today & since this was her first time at this particular grooming salon they really take their time getting to know your dog! (The first visit is usually between 3 to 4 hours.) When we picked her up, Strudel looked OUTSTANDING! Our experience groomer did an absolute terrific job! I would HIGHLY recommend her for any breed of dog! When we picked up Strudel, there was a stunning golden retriever that had just been groomed as well! There was also a black lab that looked equally as wonderful and happy! 5 GOLD STARS for the fantastic groomer at Urban Tail's!

what an absolute horrible business! They overcharge you & when you call them out on it they call…read moreyou a liar & yell at you & demand you never shop there again. Sorry, but when we come in WEEKLY and buy the exact same items, yet get charged a different amount every single time & then when we finally ask for a receipt for once to discover you over charged us you want to claim we somehow hid the "extra item". You searched your database to find my personal phone number to call to yelling at us & refusing to even allow us to speak. The second we'd try to say anything you'd hang up like a child. Your manager needs some serious training on proper customer service & how to actually talk AND listen to people. Also, learn to properly label your animals. just like the bamboo I called you out on before, that "banana spider" you have in there does not carry the spider morph. it is just a plain, single gene banana. When we pointed it out to one of your associates last week when we were in, he told us "yeah, we know, but we think it has a "wobble" so we labeled it as spider too. That's not how that works! Stop ripping people off & then yelling at them when your called out on it. Your manager needs to put her narcissism to the side, as someone who has worked retail management for over 10 years myself, I could never imagine telling a loyal customer who shops at my establishment multiple times a month, every month, for over 5 years now to never return rather than just accept that maybe my sales associate made a mistake. You are a grown, beyond middle aged woman, who acted like a toddler. Learn proper customer resolution skills!

FOR THE OWNER !! My…read morereview is for this particular employee's behavior, not for their actual services... this guy who works there came out of the facility with a small dog on a leash and a much bigger dog with no leash on,I was walking towards the MMA MECCA place that is located across this doggy care, his dogs were barking at me and my children and then the big dog with no leash on went onto full attack mode at my 2 very small children, he didn't care his big dog was barking and attacking my kids, very much trying to bite my youngest child, THIS GUY cursed at me because I said to him to take his dogs away from my kids and that the big dog should be on a leash !!! Police were involved and all. I hope he gets fired from this place he works at. Another mom from a kid that attends the Mecca place BJJ came forward and told the police officer she and her kids were attacked by the same dog too in a different occasion and the guy didn't care to pull the dog away. Very bad to have a person who behaves like this working for a doggy care. Very irresponsible and careless to whatever that could have happened to me or my children,he didn't care, but instead chose to say to me to shut the &#_ up. My little 3 year old was terrified and crying because the dog was on her face trying to bite her meanwhile the owner kept walking away from the dog and wasn't even trying to stop the dog. I hope he gets fired,at least. And I hope he enjoys the ticket that the police department is giving him. The guy proceeded to get into his vehicle and then left with the dogs.
