This shop has been taking care of our Nissan Maxima and recently my work van. Our cars AC was not…read moreworking, and we agreed to a diagnostic, which including shooting a dye into the system. My worst fear was a new compressor. Thank God all it was only an O-Ring. Thanks for your honesty!!! Took van to ARS for radiator leak/replacement after Chevy dealer, two hours away did an emergency fan/clutch repair. They quoted me almost $1500 to replace the radiator while I was there, I declined. When I took it to ARS to get the work done my costs were almost $500 less than GM Chevrolet. Also saw that Chevy had damaged a lot of my fins on radiator when they replace Fan/Clutch. (I will deal with them!) The owner and staff are always friendly and ready to assist. They even had a loaner car for me. (As long as I had full coverage on my van)! Just topped off the gas tank! Bottom line-No one is perfect including GM Mechanics, but being honest, considerate, and giving a better labor rate than any other dealer or reputable shop is a winner for me! I'm guessing the owner has 40 plus years' experience and it shows! Thank you sir!!!

TLDR review - highly recommend. Call here first…read more Full review. - I had car trouble right at the halfway point of a long trip and called ARS Automotive as soon as they opened. They answered at 8:00 AM, had me in by 8:10, and I was back on the road by 9:30. The moment I described the issue, they guessed what it was and said, "If we're right, you'll be back on the road this morning. If not, we'll go from there." Sure as shit -- they were right. They were fast, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely good people. Pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and confidently they handled everything. If you're traveling and experiencing engine problems, you can 100% trust this shop. I got lucky they had an opening -- good shops like this stay booked -- but if you're in the area, this would be my first call every time. Highly recommend.

We got new tires from here last year (for one of our vehicles), and recently came in to the shop to…read moretalk about our second vehicle. Preface: I initially called a few weeks back about a different service (headlight bulbs), but the guy I spoke to then (possibly old manager) wasn't super pleasant over the phone and I ended up taking my car to a competitor to get the work done. But now, we came in to talk about tires. Rob (who I believe is the new manager) immediately greeted us and was super friendly and knowledgable. He was patient and took his time to educate us on tires and the work we needed or *didn't* need. I'd highly recommend Rob to be your main point of contact for anything. When you're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on car upkeep and maintenance, Rob is the type of person I would trust all my vehicles with, to give me an honest opinion and do honest work.

This place is a joke, at least the work/price is. But I'm not laughing. My stepson brought his Cruz…read morein to have some engine done that Midas had previously done but screwed up. So he brought it to somewhere else where they told him what the problem actually was. After being in the correct direction Midas replaced the oxygen sensor but left the old one hanging the melted to the exhaust pipe when they touched. On my vehicle I'd had fuel pressure problems. When starting and when slowing down sometimes it would die. So I bring it here. After $1,500 worth of work they say it is 'running a lot better'. I drive it to where I need to go and notice it runs the same. I bring it to the same place my stepson brought his(Built Not Bought in Lacon)and after diagnosing(which they did not charge:)the problem was a fuel pressure regulator. W/O an appointment they got me out the door in under an hour for $225. What Midas charged me for was basically the worlds most expensive tune-up(spark plugs, oil and gas additives, hoses etc)that didn't solve my problem. I picked them because they have financing(another mistake)but the place i go to in Lacon now also offers financing just non-traditional(Klarna, Affirm, One Pay)not a typical credit card.
