I also had them check the alignment after I did some work and another place said I needed a tie rod. THis was after the other place originally said ball joints are needed for the alignment, which I then replaced. Since the other place did not say I also needed a tie rod originally, I took it to King for a second opinion. 5 minutes after they took my truck, they came out and said the same. I asked them to show me (so I could learn) and they were more than happy to do so. Very fair in what they charge.

She has had troubles with her car starting several times and was recommended to go to A&B. She dropped off her car and they called her that night and told her that they started it just fine 15 different times. They had her leave it over night so they could check it the next day and told her the same thing. Said there was nothing wrong with the car. However, the people who recommended them tested her battery and starter and all that and said it was coming up as the starter being low. And to take it to A&B because the first garage couldn't do starters. They didn't bother to do a voltage drop test on the starter cable and ground circuit, or check for a dead spots or inspect the neutral safety switch or clutch pedal switch. They just decided that since it started it was fine and not worth their time. We won't be going back. Although, from the sounds of how they treated her, I doubt they'll care.
