I highly recommend Precision Marine. I trust them so much that I drive almost an hour to get them to service my boat. I have a Falcon 195 with a DF200SS and while there are dealers closer to me, they don't give me the service Precision Marine does. They always answer my questions, even the annoying technical ones. Robyn is always a delight to speak with, and Brian and Randy, the mechanics, are always straight up with me. I had a fuel issue last summer and Brian graciously spent time helping me try and narrow down the issue over the phone. Turned out he was right! (it was bad gas). Recently I wanted to swap out my lower unit and Randy was very understanding of my concerns. I've worked a little on boats myself so I do know a tiny bit, and Randy immediately recognized what I wanted (vacuum test for the lower unit seals, and a test on the dial indicator to make sure the shafts were in spec). Owning a boat is just a exercise in waiting for something to go wrong, and having a trustworthy dealer makes all the difference. To Robyn, Randy, and Brian, keep up the great work! read more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! BAD BUSINESS!!! Had a new trolling motor and a new front roller assembly installed on my boat. Picked the boat up on a Friday, noticed the boat was leaning a little left, but thought tires were low or ground was uneven. Put the boat in the water Saturday and as I'm backing the boat in the water my left running board that the boat rests on starts floating down the Neuse river. So I retrieve the running board, and all three metal brackets that the running boards were attached to were snapped clean through. So I called my 86yr. old. grandfather to stay with the boat while I went and purchased ratchet straps to J-rig running board so that I could load the boat on the trailer,(which was a JOB!!). Fast-forward to Monday. I take the boat back to Precision and the very first word that I'm greeted with is "we didn't do it". The woman was nice but still went into complete denial mode, told me to wait for the owner. So the owner comes in and immediately gets loud and aggressive yelling "we didn't do it". He admits that he pushed the boat backwards on dry running boards to get the new roller on. He then precedes to unhook my boat from the front and starts shaking it around attempting to push it backwards(with rear straps on I might add) saying "we didn't lift your boat this is how we got the front roller on". In Reality this is EXACTLY how my running board was snapped. You cant push Nearly a ton boat on dry running boards anyone with an IQ over 80 knows that. THAT'S HOW PRECISION MARINE BROKE MY BOAT TRAILER. fact. The whole time neither the Woman or the Male owner even asked about whether I wanted it fixed and were constantly attempting to berate me. This Proves they Knew that they broke it, knew that I would be back, and were prepared to lie and Deny not to fix their mistake. Finally as a Working class American. I saved for MONTHS to get this trolling motor. And now I'll have to pay someone(other than Precision)to have my trailer fixed and my boat is LESS FUNCTIONAL than when I took it to them. All the while these people are probably millionaires, don't do any real work all day long, and somehow still exist as a business. P.S. Another man was picking up his boat wile I was there. Kid in back went to retrieve his boat. Comes out walking, tells the man "ur strap broke when we hooked ur boat up were putting a new one on real quick". That man was still there when I left and witnessed the Male owner getting all irate. read more

Stay away from this place. I brought my boat there for work on the trailer. The engine was running fine. Without asking me, they ran some tests on the engine and told me it needed valve work. I was foolish enough to authorize them to take the motor apart to look. At that point, they told me it needed a whole new powerhead. Then they refused to put the motor back together because they insisted it needed that work done. I told them I would preferred not to have it done and intended to get a second opinion. When I went to pick up the boat and motor they charged me before I could see the boat, and handed me the engine back in parts. Obviously, too big to fit in my car, I was forced to leave the parts there which I assume they kept. Next I saw that my trolling motor was missing from the boat. They told me it was never there! (In fact, one of the reasons I brought the Bodian was to replace the batteries on the trolling motor) I have reported stolen trolling motor to the police, and apparently must take them to court to recover it I asked to speak to the owner, and it turns out the person who handed me the engine back in parts was the owner! read more
