In return, so far, Bullhead Excavating's Wyatt moved a shed for us, graded some land for us, removed a lot of trees and stacked them, and even was able to facilitate some gravel delivery for our driveway- all from different times contacting them! They were far less than other companies, and they didn't even charge a "mobilization" fee as we were close enough to Spirit Lake, they were able to drive there within 15 minutes. He came right out to look at my property when I called, and seems readily available anytime I call for more work, even giving us better ideas than we had in the first place. I recommend them over any "new" businesses that just moved to the area, as they seem to only have one piece of equipment and like to take advantage of out of state types that may have more money than locals. I'll be calling them for the foreseeable future.

I was new to the area and looking for a company I could trust. The salesman who helped me at the company I purchased my home from gave me the owners number. At this time I felt comfortable with him and his company. And felt comfortable with his referral. I meet with the owner on the property to discuss and go over projects I was looking to have completed. A contract was signed on April 17, 2023. A cashiers check for 34$ was issued to Shadrock. All projects totaled 69K. That should have been my first red flag... half of the money due before any work had begun. The first and only project to be completed was the foundation for my home. As I looked over my contract, I was charged for rebar, NO REBAR was utilized in the framing or pouring of concrete, second red flag. There were quite a few charges that were bogus... he had an answer for everything. At this point all jobs had to be put on hold due to wrong home being delivered to my property. Once things got back on course the owner asked me for 10k more for my projects. Third reg flag! I told him that this was all the money I had left in my bank. He told me not to worry that he would pay me back! He lied to me and had no intention of paying me back! I am 69 years old and took all my savings to purchase this home. In order to be closer to my 6 grandchildren. After receiving my home some of the projects needed to be altered. I asked the owner repeatedly for two months too draw up a revised contract. And to please sit down with me and go over money situation. He never did due to the fact that he was not going to return any of the 44k he had received from me. I hear his girlfriend received a new truck and Harley right around the time he received MY MONEY! I let him go and continued to ask for my money! It has almost been a year and I have not received anything from him except lies, deception and heartache. The owner has no ethics whatsoever or morels. He will tell you that he is a Christian. He will tell you to drug test him that he does not do drugs. He will boast about himself and his riches. Unfortunately most everything that comes out of his mouth is lies! He talks out of both sides of his mouth and can't be trusted!! I am trying to get through all of this and I refuse to let him rob me of my joy! God assures me that vengeance is His only. I pray for his soul...
