I'm writing this review to hopefully help make clarifications for other Charter School families that may be considering Precision Gymnastics as a vendor. The child must first be enrolled for the specific class(es) before the PO is honored. In order to secure enrollment, payment for the month is due upfront, in full; which will later be refunded. It has been clarified that having my child enrolled once the PO is received is a courtesy used at their discretion. Again, the PO cannot be honored if your child is not enrolled, and in order to enroll, you must pay upfront, in full for the month at your personal expense. Submitting a PO ahead of time will not be honored because enrollment is synonymous with upfront payment. I find this disheartening and discouraging as the whole purpose of charter school funds is to avoid coming out of pocket. I simply do not have the means to pay out of pocket and then double back for a refund. I can understand the business aspect of this policy, as it makes perfect sense for someone paying directly. However, being a long-standing Charter School Vendor, I would expect them to have a particular policy that allows families to submit a PO and secure enrollment that doesn't require an out of pocket expense and a refund. When we first enrolled in October, there did not seem to be any issues, as I had the PO submitted well before the beginning of October classes. Submitting a PO for November was streamlined, so no issues there. We stopped attending for the month of December due to holiday plans and decided to join back again in February. I would be lying if I said re-enrolling was streamlined. Lots of back and forth with the staff and our Charter School to get on the same page - Charter School states the PO is used as a promise to pay and should never require an out of pocket expense - Precision insists payment due upfront, regardless of PO because payment secures placement. Once the PO was received for February, my child's placement was honored as a one-time courtesy (unbeknownst to me at the time) and all was well. Due to the intricacies of this process, I have decided to have the POs processed months in advance so as not to risk paying out of pocket and catching any discrepancies early on so it doesn't jeopardize my child's placement. In the same transaction, I attempted to enroll my child in a second class assuming the same process as before, but no. In order to have my child attend another class, I would need to pay upfront in full. I suggested submitting a PO and once it was received on their end, I could call back and have her enrolled, since the PO funds would be available then - NO. The PO will be invalid because the child is not enrolled for that secondary class and the only way to secure that is with payment upfront. This will be the extent of our relationship because I don't believe double-dipping is a good business practice to secure enrollment. As for the classes and quality of services rendered, the experience has been okay. The Preschool Urban Ninja staff show an interest in working with the kids and the exercises are stimulating for them as well. In my observation, younger kids who need more direction and guidance don't necessarily get reinforcement due to class size. If I could make a suggestion, it would be for the staff to make an effort to correct form so that the kids not only have fun, but they also learn to do certain exercises correctly. read more

My oldest daughter attended precision many years ago and did a few classes and my youngest attends when they have certain events going on. It's nice to see familiar faces. I tried to bring my son to a weekend class after calling several times on several different days and getting no response. I was irritated with their staff asking me to open an account when apparently there wasn't a class to attend and telling me they return phone calls when they do not. My son has been happy at the little gym in Anaheim. (They answered the phone) but his preschool will be near home so ignoring this one incident and the bad yelp reviews I tried to enroll him a month ahead. Apparently I'm banned. If you can get past the whole Karen complex of this place and poor management it appears to be the only gymnastics within 18 miles. read more

The only problem I have is with the "face" of your company which would be your administrative staff in the front. Your staff member Trinity is unprofessional and rude. I don't know how you allow for an employee that represents your company to constantly be talking about her weekend and who she's dated and what she did with them right out in the open. This review is purely for Coach Ritchie. My daughter has been going to precision for over two years now. We have had a few coaches in the past, but I truly feel he has helped shape my daughter into a more patient and respectful little girl. We tried out a ballet class today to add to the extracurricular activities and the coach was so relaxed and unstructured with the kids no one looked like they learned a thing in the class. After the class I asked my 4year old how she liked it and she said "coach Ritchie would never let us mess around like that. And she never told me how to do anything" He is so patient with all the kids but so stern and straight to the point, he dose a wonderful job expressing what he expects from the kids before asking them to do their drill. When classes are split half being coached by him and half by another coach you can see the shift in the kids when they are being taught by him, they all listen and retain what is being said. I truly can't say enough great things about him and will continue to call precision our home gym as long as he is there! read more

Let me start if by saying this place is a joke the cost to have your kids do gymnastics is insane! The waitlist is always long. Maybe not enough parents care about the environment. The tv monitors that record your children are broken they freeze up and they've been broken for almost 2 months now. The restrooms are filthy toilet paper dispensers are broken when you grab toilet paper the whole thing falls and breaks apart and they smell disgusting. Maybe with all the money you charge you should hire a professional cleaning company not the young ladies that are teaching your classes, they aren't a cleaning service. Lastly the instructors walk on the mats everywhere the girls are walking barefoot with their outside shoes on gross!!! Update: sounds like I struck a few nerves Shelly! That's funny those dispensers were broken like that for 3 weeks and I told your front desk but they were too busy talking. Don't get so angry with my review if it's not true! Clearly it is because you're trying to justify your dirty place. And you clean your mats once a day?? While you have classes all throughout the day and the instructors are walking on them with their outside dirty shoes! Hmmm doesn't make you sound very sanitary! And I call spectrum? Haha what a joke you are why don't you call them? They come out almost immediately when you have an issue sounds like it's just laziness on your part again don't get angry just keep your gym clean. And the whole every time someone goes in the restrooms they are cleaned is a huge lie why is the trash can filled if someone cleans it often!?? And the smell is probably coming from your dirty a&&! Since you see no problem with how dirty your gum is you're probably use to that smell in your restrooms because you run a pigsty! Of course it's easier for you to make up BS lies so you don't look bad on here. Clean your disaster! I don't recommend this gymnastics studio to the local families in Rancho Cucamonga. My daughter is an athlete, She has been in sports since she was five. I've been to quite a few studios for dance, gymnastics, performing arts, and this is definitely a low quality place. The girls in the front desk don't put much effort. They don't have the best attitude. The coaches seem OK, they don't really seem to be interested in making sure the kids are focused. My daughter got hurt and her condition worsened which made the doctor put a cast on her foot resulting for her to be out for about two months. I kept the staff updated, emailed over a dr note because I wanted to hold her spot, hoping she was going to be able to return. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to, I had asked for a refund for the month since she wasn't attending the classes, or missed a class. I paid for the whole month and she didn't miss or attend a single class and was on a doctors note. They denied my refund and had no concern for my daughter, they didn't empathize or have any sympathy that I was asking for the money back. They just simply said the manager denied it, and that it's their policy. Not only did they drop my daughter from class before without bringing it to my attention, but now they have again shown their true colors, and displayed that they simply don't care about the families or the ethics of their facility and culture. it just isn't a happy place with good vibes, all the parents in the waiting room are piled on top of each other also. The system is a little choatic there as well and lack organization. Overall I would say they're overpriced, have bad ethics, and simply care about money, and not families. Keeping families, happy and making sure the kids are growing in their sport should be number one to make sure you have returning families and students. I actually know of a coach who used to work there and she wouldn't recommend any of her students to go there as well. Not good quality :( read more

My kids took urban ninja classes here for 2 years and in that time I've had a couple of unpleasant interactions with the girls that work the front desk with their condescending, snotty attitudes. But after the last experience I had, I decided not to come back. I recieved a phone call from one of the girls demanding I pay a supposedly over due registration fee immediately or my kids would be dropped. I tried explaining to her that my fee wasn't due yet but it was like talking to a wall. After several attempts to get her to understand her mistake, a different girl got on the phone and said "this conversation is going nowhere" and hung up on me and dropped my kids from the class even though I had already paid for the full month. After several days and several phone calls of trying to get a hold of someone capable of understanding the situation, I finally got a hold of someone that I assume was a manager. After our call she re-enrolled my kids back into their class and agreed that they should not have been dropped and also confirmed my registration fee wasn't due yet and that I was able to finish out the month that I had already paid for. While I'm glad everything worked out in the end it was still such an unnecessary headache to deal with so after my pre paid month finished, I decided not to come back. As it turns out, this type of staff behavior seems to be an on going problem. I was recently at the park talking to a group of parents and the topic of Precision Gymnastics came up and 2 other people in the group mentioned that they no longer have their kids attend classes there due to the rude and unprofessional encounters that they've also had with front desk members. read more

Let me preference this by saying, I literally read these reviews, spoke with different parents and went against my better judgment in coming to this facility. With my fingers crossed things should go smoothly. The first week of December we received a message from one of the ladies at the front desk Christina whom assisted me as much as possible with enrolling them, not only was she a little funny but gave me step by step directions in the process of submitting through our school. Looking back at it I honestly wish I would have only spoken to her, unfortunately that's neither here nor there. If you do call, ask to speak with her; she'll give you the information you need and a smile! I signed my daughters up in December but they only completed two classes due to the school break. We are a Charter School homeschool family and use the funding in financing, which is important to note. Preparing for Januarys classes they required submitting payments the month prior. Being that this was my first time using the system (without the help of an employee ) I thought I entered our information correctly since I had spoken with the first lady. Our homeschool hub was down (for Xmas break, 3 weeks) until AFTER the payment was due. This meant, if I made a mistake of any kind my personal account would cover the cost as opposed to an automated system acknowledging the mistake. We enjoyed our break and upon arrival in January my eldest daughter had a terrible rash but at the time we thought could be "measles". Not wanting to spread this we made the decision to keep her from attending. Again, not thinking too deep about missing a gymnastics classes ( which I should have read there (fine print) I assumed they'd make them up. The facility reopened on the 6th give or take a few days but during that time period is when the first call was received. Of course I had somehow entered information wrong on the PO and it needed to be revised. It's not the fact that I made the mistake it's the tone in which you deliver a message that makes all the difference. Even walking into the facility the ladies don't look the happiest or only speak to a selective few parents; or that's what it seems like anyway. The following week my youngest had surgery on her mouth, yes I know it's always back to back with kids! Therefore she missed that class as well. So between them opening back up after Christmas and the second week of January I received two calls that weren't pleasant and was charged a return check fee for the typo. I guess being that it was my first time AND I overpaid in December I assumed that wouldn't even be an issue, the embarrassment came from not even being able to let the girls enter the class until that fee was paid. lol. Not the most terrible experience in the world but definitely something to note, it's also a plus that my girls really I mean reallllyyy like their instructors. And yes, I'm refusing to put the name of said employees because I don't want tension and also maybe they were having a bad day idk. Maybe they don't feel appreciated and it just rubs off on the parents occasionally OR it's also possible that my issue was annoying for them lol who knows!! Anyways, I'm willing to change my review depending on how well the next few months go. Good luck! read more

My 4 year granddaughter loves going to this gym. The coaches and staff are great. The coach goes through each thing and shows them how it's done. Then the kids do it while the coaches guide them through it. They have many different courses for them to do. She's gained confidence and has learned how to balance, jump, and follow the courses. She looks forward to going to the gym every week. They also have fun special events during the year. It's super fun for all. read more

Along with the post I read from a couple months ago..... I also felt unwelcome. Unless your white, you don't have the same privileges as other paying customers. They pick and chose who's allowed to sit behind the glass waiting room. I've been coming here for 5 months and I finally pulled the plug. The class is only 35 minutes long, and they hire "kids" 16 year olds, to train 3 & 4 years old. What 16 year old has the patience to deal with the little ones??? I sure didn't at that age! "Strict policy, one person per child, (Unless your White)" That's the sign they need at the door This place was open before California got into the tier we are In today. Yet they " care about safety" There's a gym I've been told by neighbors in UPLAND that has better reviews. And from what my neighbors have told me, it's a lot better!!! I'm willing to drive the extra 18 miles and hope that other gymnastics is better. At the very minimum, welcoming!! read more

This place was very good in the beginning. However, lately the staff became very rude and unprofessional at all especially, Tiffany, I asked for her supervisor or manager but she refused to provide me her supervisor to escalate or complain! I asked couple times for makeup visits which they started lately to refuse these sessions and they did not give me at least credit for the missed visits or provide any assistance for additional openings!!! It used to be a good place where you can refer a friend or family but no more and I deeply regret that I referred multiple families there. My daughter loves everything about gymnastics. She is doing so good and learning so much. The one thing I wish I could change is that she will be five in November and she's outgrown the four year old class. I wish I can have her bumped up to the five year-old class, but we have to wait till her birthday. My son also goes for urban boys boys and it has helped him so much. His learning how to jump patrol Klein and just use his body and strength. I highly recommend this for your children. It helps them burn off a lot of energy. read more

I enrolled my sun yesterday and decided I didn't want to proceed with those classes today or next week, I was thinking we would get on the wait list the following week because my kid is coming down with something, so I called and asked if we can hold off on joining. The girl who answered was very rude. I started off by apologizing and telling her we wish to not proceed with enrollment at this time, she asked "did you pay? Well you're not enrolled then." Emphasis on "pay" and "then" with attitude. She then said "hold on" and said she'd look at the account which I didn't ask her to do, my response was just "ok" after she told me my "...well then you're not enrolled." I literally just wanted to get off the phone with this person. She checked and said "ooohh! You joined yesterday. I see." Then with a different tone (smart as tone that you'd give someone who wasted your time) she said "OK.. I'll just take him off then.." To be honest I can't imagine what's so hard about these desk jobs at precision that make these girls act like this, I literally apologized and asked in the kindest way if we can hold off on lessons and I feel like this person treated me like dirt. There was misunderstanding in communication about trial classes and enrolling in classes. The trial classes were taken and we were informed we had to pay for the previous monthly classes in which we were not enrolled in because we took the trial class. The administration manager called, I guess to discuss the issue, but never got to it because she called from a nonbusiness number in order to berate my child and then hang up. I just had my daughter's 4th birthday party here. I didn't know gymnastics gyms could be rented out for private parties before a friend mentioned it to me. This was an awesome experience for myself as a parent, my daughter, and the guests. 10x less chaotic than going to an indoor playground that is still open to the public. One friend told me to was the quietest kids party she had gone to. I chose this gym because 1) a friend I know started lessons here for her daughter and liked it and 2) it was about the only local place I could find that had pictures of their pre-school area and it looked fun. The price is reasonable and doesn't include much as far as a "party room" for food, decor, etc. What you are paying for is the structured/guided play. There are coaches (we had 3 for 12 kids) who give the kids instruction and assist them in doing FUN activities. We had kids ranging from 22 months to 10 years old. Most activities were geared towards my daughters age and those with 2 year olds came out to help their kids follow along with the activities but the coaches were more than welcoming and open to having the little ones join. Every kid had a blast. Loved hearing my daughter squeal with excitement and laughter and actually seeing her follow instructions well. We purchased an extra 30 min in the gym and I think that was perfect for us. We had 30 min in the party room. Tables are only set up for the kids but adults get chairs to sit in. 30 min in the party room goes by quick but coaches are good at managing the time and the kids work up an appetite so they all sat there peacefully eating. I was trying to hand out cupcakes to all the adults and the coaches stopped me and told me they'd handle it, I should relax. What?! I LOVE HEARING THAT! haha We are definitely going to enroll my daughter in one of their classes as soon as our schedules permit! read more
