I bought a home in 2023 that had a American Standard condensing…read morefurnace in a conventional split system. It had an older setback thermostat everything else was new. I had ir serviced by Collins HVAC by a technician that was not the owner. A year later I had a different Service tech from Bristol VA change out that old thermostat. While he was there I asked him to check out our furnace. He told me that whomever serviced it didn't recognize a condensing furnace with a secondary heat exchanger! He said for that reason it wasn't plumbed as to the cold air intake and moisture laden exhaust gases both of which exit from pipes that pass through the homes foundation wall. I should point out that the service tech from Bristol was the owner and was authorized to service American Standard\Trane heating /cooling equipment. I Am now using that the tech from Bristol fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call. Hope I never need a plumber again but I would definitely use Cox Plumbing again.
