I am absolutely blown away with the quality and customer service provided by One of One!!!…read more I recently purchased my new WRX and immediately decided to have PPF installed on the full front end. As an avid auto detailing enthusiast, I know how important this step is to protect the paint. The technicians performed a terrific paint correction prior to flawlessly installing the PPF. I also opted to include window tint on the front windows to match the factory tint shade that was already installed on the rest of the vehicle. A very special shout out to Alex! She was incredibly detailed, extremely knowledgeable, and was prompt at responding to all of my inquiries. She happily provided specific package options with broken down costs to help me understand the budget I wanted to spend. I had many questions and learned so much from her! I highly recommend One of One for all of your detailing services and tinting needs. My WRX looks just as good and was treated with the same care as all of the high end exotics. The second you pull into the parking lot you immediately notice all of the high end and rare vehicles customers have brought in! It's like being at a car show! Thanks again Alex and One of One team!

After shopping around at a couple of other places, she decided to go with Car Stereo City. Emad is the man... he laid everything out. He presented several options, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the brands, the features, and so forth. It came down to a choice between Pioneer and Kenwood. She ended up going with the Kenwood. Emad explained what they would do and gave her a nice deal. He provided an estimate of how long the work would take, and it was actually completed a little earlier than expected. They kept the car clean, no trash or debris anywhere in sight, and nothing on the floor mats. The installation was nice and clean (see photo). Emad took the time to show her how everything worked and answered any/all questions she had. The shop itself is very easy to find (on Claremont Mesa Boulevard near the 163 freeway) and the show room is super clean. They have a lot of products laid out and you can ask for a demo. Overall, we had an excellent experience here. Service was exceptional and this shop is super clean with a huge selection of products. Whatever you need for your vehicle, they can do... security, audio, cameras (dash and backup), navigation, tinting, and more. They have a nice website with photo galleries and other information... CarStereoCitySanDiego.com. This will be our family's go to place for car audio and other services. I plan to return in the near future to upgrade speakers and take care of other things. I highly recommend Car Stereo City. 5 / 5: Products 5 / 5: Cleanliness 5 / 5: Workmanship 5 / 5: Service (Emad was great!) 5 / 5: Overall

Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.
