My only experience is with 155 grain .401" diameter RNFP bullets from Precision. Their appearance is outstanding, no sprue marks or other marks, which I guess is to be expected since these are swaged bullets. They shot very well in a Rock Island Arsenal 1911 clone in 10mm using a modest charge of AA #2. In my .40 S&Ws (Glock 22 & 23) they also grouped well. I did notice a bit of fouling of some sort in the Glocks, but not so far in the RIA 10mm. On a whim, decided to try & powder coat them. The powder coating process worked very well and completely eliminated the minor fouling problem. I know it sounds weird to powder coat a bullet that's already coated, but there you go... BTW bought a large batch of these bullets 10 - 12 years ago, and this is the batch I'm using. Bottom line: I really like these bullets and they're saving me a ton of casting time. read more
