My wife said her car didn't feel right going around curves, that the rearend "shimmied". Relayed…read moreall this to M & M and requested that they find the cause and repair it, then give it an alignment afterward. We paid for 'repairs' and alignment. Wife said it still felt wrong and still "shimmied". Went back to M&M who told me that we needed tires with stronger sidewalls and offered to sell us some. Later that month, we took it in for its state inspection and it failed for a broken rear swaybar. The inspector showed me the broken swaybar and told me that it was for safety and could cause it to be dangerous in curves because the swaybar evens out the sway of the rearend, what my wife had described as a shimmy. The inspection place didn't do suspension repairs, so we took it somewhere else. M & M did not perform the service requested.

We're happy with their service. A year and a half later, I needed to have something checked gave them a long list of things. My husband asked me to go there have it checked. Turns out most of the things in my list is fine. They gave me quotes, set expectations and all that. There were no upsell of some sorts. Pretty straightforward transaction actually, I just brought up everything I have questions about. Asked the price for the check up. Have them checked. Asked something I didn't know or understand. I brought my husband to check on everything right after. They were all spot on!!

This is a pretty new location so I decided to give them a try. I needed my front breaks replaced…read moreand was feeling some vibration upon breaking. Staff seemed friendly and welcoming. (Side note: I did notice the mechanic working on my car was on his phone most of the time-) Upon leaving I noticed that my lugnut covers were missing. I addressed that issue right away and was advised they would order them for me and replace. The vibration was still happening a few weeks later and I decided to take my car to Ford for assessment- Ford indicated whomever replaced my front breaks didn't shave the rotors. I usually don't speak up, but this time I did and the management (Nick) at Mavis corrected the issue right way. He had the lug nut covers for me and covered the cost of the rotor shave at Ford. I was very impressed with how they wanted to correct the issue. I did have a great experience with management and the staff at the front desk were kind. However everyone has had different experiences reading the reviews. Ciao for now.

I asked him if they were going to have time to get it done. He replied with about that, Can you come back tomorrow? They were all standing around talking for over 30 min. I asked why would you wait for an hour to ask if I could come back. I could have went to my normal place discount tire by the palladium. We just moved out to Stokesdale figured I would give them a shot since they were closer. They said they will get the tires on not the alignment. Just get it back to us and we will get to it tomorrow.

I first found Genuine Car Care Center when I lived in K'ville a few years back. Now that I live…read morebelow Wallburg I still go out of my way to go to them! Friendly, professional and EXTREMELY HONEST! I am typing this review from their waiting room. I came in for four band new tires on a vehicle I have only had for a short time because the dealer told me all four had to be replaced. I thought the fronts looked ok, but trusted the dealer. At Genuine they went to replace the tires but brought me back to show me that the front tires were in practically brand new shape and said they wouldn't feel right giving me four new tires when I only needed two. So two it is. One of my first experiences here a few years back was when I had a nail in my tire. I brought it in. They took off the tire, tested it for leaks, found none, checked the balance and put it back on. When I asked them how much I owed them for doing that, their response was "Nothing. Just bring it back when you need something done." Genuine Car Care Center is a PRIME EXAMPLE of how a small business automotive service provider should be. If you live anywhere remotely close to Kernersville make them your go to provider!
