When we dropped the car off and picked it up it was at our convenience. When the repairs were complete, minus a pair of nameplates that were on back order, Tim had us pick up the car and we returned later in the week for a few minutes to have the badges installed...we were very excited to return the rental and get our new car back, and the Lynch Auto team made sure it was in a timely manner. The repairs were of the highest quality, our Jetta looks fresh off the factory floor. It's also great that they are a locally owned, family business. I would not hesitate to return to Lynch Auto Body and will recommend them any chance I get.

As you can see from the texts, that was on 1/6/25. I picked up my car on 1/6/25. Your statement about "not releasing" my car due to me not paying is false. I was in an insurance covered rental car. Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business. I've had Tim & his body-men fix several issues on my 2013 Volkswagen GTI over the last since 2019:…read moreUpper windshield trim was added because the former repair from another shop was missing it; Reforming the rear corner bumper plastic fascia to a barely noticeable condition - Both for REASONABLE COST or LESS! On one repair concerning the chips on the hood, he used a touch-up stick. When he tried to knock off the crest that naturally forms on the new paint, it went right thru to bare metal. I realized it WAS NO FAULT OF HIS, as paint is EXTREMELY THIN on newer vehicles. To my complete ASTONISHMENT, he REPAINTED the ENTIRE hood for the SAME COST as the ORIGINAL ESTIMATE!! To address any negative commentary: 1) I've needed to make deposits on parts, but I already knew how much they cost and rarely had to pay MSRP. 2) I treat him with the same respect as he does to me: I make sure my appointment time is convenient for the shop, and wait patiently if someone's ahead of me, for example. 3) Most certainly, I refer my friends to Juneau Auto Body because, a) the service requests have always been complete, b) the REPAIR QUALITY EXCEEDS my expectations, c) as in the painting of the hood, He was HONEST about the problem & then blew me away by repainting the entire hood for the price of the original quote! Mace Is the Proprietor. Of such A business !!! JUNEAU AUTO BODY I took in an appraised Two Plus. 1964 Ford Thunderbird. Mr. Tim Mace and his employees Turned It Into A Two Minus. I was wanting to have my Bumpers re-chromed, To repair a split in the dash, And a few other minor items. Mr. Tim Mace said he needed my Money up front before he Could send the bumpers out, ($ 2,350.00 for re-chroming) And to start the other requested work. So, I paid Mr. Tim Mace $ 5,000.00 Cash upfront to Start Working on my car. Mr. Tim Mace pulled the bumpers off over Three months after he said He was going to. And told me at a car show they were back. Over three months after they were back! Mr. Tim Mace said he made the UPS delivery Driver Wait ??? So, he could drive The half hour to the shop to Unwrap and Inspect the bumpers. Mr. Tim Mace told me they were beautiful. I drove up to Juneau Auto Body The next day to see my bumpers. They were Still wrapped up and Thrown on a bench in the back corner of the Shop that Mid-States Farm Equip. owns. Mr. Tim Mace even asked me if I had a Knife so, he could open the Shipping packaging. (People who Lie Can't remember) !!! Mr. Tim Mace had put my car in the back of the Mid States Farm Equip. Shop! With the Other Crap so it could Be covered with bird shit and Whatever! Mr. Tim Mace had My Monies up front As he had requested. At the time of my "bumper" visit Mr. Tim Mace had Three other Cars in the front of the shop that they were working on. He had my money! So, let's get The money from these other car owners instead of taking Care of my car. That was (Prepaid). Was to put-on heavy-duty shocks They put on The Wrong Shocks. They didn't even put them into the Bushings And didn't Fasten them in the Shock Towers !!! Mr. Tim Mace's assessment of what Was causing the banging noise Was to turn a brand-new brake Drum. Dumb! Cost me $ 1,000. To replace the Wrong shocks and to do the Labor to make the Car SAFE to Drive !!! Was to replace rear quarter window Motors. They didn't know how to Do it. So, Mr. Tim Mace told me the Motors were defective. Had Mike at: Finicky Elec. Motors, (Mike & Finicky are Great) !!! No Charge. Check them out. They were both Ready to go And were in great shape. Juneau's employees left the Guts inside the panels in a Cobbled mess & tools rolling Around under the rear seat. Something that should have Taken Six Months. Took Juneau Auto Body. OVER Twenty-Two Months. After nine months Plus I asked Mr. Tim Mace to put the bumpers Back On AND to forget about Repairing the dash !!! And to return $ 2,000.00 To me for the dash repair. I assume? He didn't Have The $ 2,000.00 So, Mr. Tim Mace pulled the windshield. Thus, disabling my car and My ability to drive it. After I asked him to Stop Working on my car. Mr. Tim Mace told me that Kyle Of Glass Works of WI. (Kyle IS the Only! one you Should Consider for Glass) !! Whom he said he had been Waiting on for 270 days finally Showed up in the last two hours On that Friday afternoon. Another Lie! It took Mr. Tim Mace and Juneau Auto Body. Another 363 Days!!! To repair The dash before. I Could RESCUE My Car !!! I could fill out several Additional Paragraphs. Three Final Thoughts I Had over 3/4 tank of Premium Gas in the tank when I dropped off my car. On "fumes" when I rescued my car, I Put $75.00 in gas to get home. His Detailer was just Two blocks Down the road from. Juneau Auto Body. Mr. Tim Mace couldn't explain to Me why. There was an Additional 86 Miles on the odometer !!! I paid Mr. Tim Mace $ 5,000.00 Up front To improve my car. And it took Another $ 4,500.00 To make Safe and Right Again. Plus $ 2,300.00 to retain the Empty Space where I store My car. I had known Mr. Tim Mace For over Four years. Go Figure !!! BUT! What are Friends for ??? Absolute disappointment …read more I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them. I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn't find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me "the manager guy is angry and calling you" I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says "your son says he doesn't plan to fix the car" (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it-- that's why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which "Steve" replied, "I'm not doing an inspection for free." I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I'm sick), "How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?" He immediately snapped, "I can sense a tone in your voice so I'm not doing the inspection because of your attitude," and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up. I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don't have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over "tone" is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful. It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning. I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I'm retracting. Never again.

I was there to get an estimate to fix the rusted rocker panels on my 2013 Ford Fusion, they gave me…read morean estimate that I considered was too much to invest in my 11 year old car so I decided not to fix it there, one week later they sent me a letter asking to call them back to negotiate a better deal, I did and we agreed to a better deal and a date to drop my car off in two more weeks. Three days before the date we set up over the phone I called them to ask what time they opened to drop my car off, they told me 8am, I told them I will be there at 8 am that date and they say that was ok. Well when I get there to drop my car off they couldn't remember who I was or what car I was dropping off, finally they look into the computer after I reminded them about our past calls and printed out my estimate, but guess what? they simply told me they never put me on schedule after I took a couple days off off work and arrange to have a friend to drive me to work. They offered to take me in next week but the owner I suppose, the guy in the wheelchair didn't even apologized about their unprofessional customer service and the hassle they caused me, I even felt his attitude kind of rude yelling from the other room but never came out to speak to me directly, I don't know if this is the way they treat everyone or it was because I am a Hispanic person with an accent but I will definitely never recommend this body shop to anybody.
