Ok, seriously, 110% NOT DISAPPOINTED that I went w Pete and his guys!!! For only having 6 reviews when I looked up this company, I decided to go w them anyway and definitely the right choice. I called Pete late in the evening, left a voicemail not expecting him to respond back til next day and to my surprise called back shortly after. His guys were backed up a few days, which I totally expected BUT! He gave me tips and tricks to see if it would hold me over til they could come out,and honestly prob "could" even fix the issue! Being that Im a technician(of a different trade of course), I understand minor to moderate trouble shooting alittle bit better than the average joe, but Pete said FaceTime him and he could walk me through it if need be...who does that!!? That alone was enough for me to realize he actually cares for his business enough to possibly lose a customer/money based on a simple phone call that potentially could have fixed the problem w/o them having to come out. He definitely went above and beyond in my eyes. We had one minor hiccup with the first visit, and I called Pete back, he pretty much immediately had his tech come back out and correct it. Been working perfectly fine since(alittle over a wk now). Price is pretty fair, techs are professional and they honor first responders and military which we are both. I can't say enough about this company. I started telling everyone about them and will continue to do so(Word of mouth is louder than advertisement any day). Try them out, you won't be sorry. And again, Thank You To Pete and his guys for fixing our AC as the days were just starting to get hot read more

They were great. We were just left with out any idea when parts would show up. It took a long time, but that was not their fault. Then the scheduling to get us in was great. read more

These guys are great. From beginning to end they are professional and friendly. Pete shoots straight and their pricing is appropriate. We are loving our new unit. read more

Saved us from the excruciating heat - and on a holiday! After realizing that our air conditioner's fan was no longer spinning in the evening in July 3rd, I searched Yelp for HVAC service. This was the first business listed and it must have been fate. I called, fingers crossed, and Pete, the owner picked up after the first ring. The next morning at 7am, Javi was there to diagnose and fix the issue. He also serviced our 2nd air conditioning unit, all under 2 hours. Honest, reliable, reasonable price (especially considering the holiday) and exceptional service. Wish I could give them 6 stars. read more

This is the first time I have used them for my home air conditioning. I saw all the great reviews and it almost seemed to good to be true. I called Pete and he had a man come out in a few hours. My blower motor was still under warranty so they only charged me for labor. Everyone I dealt with recognized my name when I called, etc. Great people to do business with! read more

Pete and his crew are the best I have dealt with them several time over the past 4 years. Pete has never let me down and his response time a in depth descriptions of what the issues are is very helpful! read more

During a complete unit replacement I talked with a few companies and Pete shared in depth knowledge of the process. He was very detailed, informative and a pleasure to work with during the quoting process. I would pick his brain from time to time over the course of a few weeks and he responded quickly. An excellent veteran owned business in Bakersfield. read more

Pete came out immediately after hearing my old unit over the phone; he could tell my compressor was going out. My bills had been very high and my house was always hot. He checked to make sure my old unit was not under warranty, very honest. I have a nice new unit now, they were extremely fast and personal service from Pete explaining everything and how it should work was wonderful. Thank you guys so much! read more

We kicked on our AC for the first time since last year and found one of our units wasn't working. I sent a message through the website and received a call back that afternoon. Pete was able to come by the next morning and fixed our unit the same day. We were happy with the service we received and the price we paid. Will definitely be calling again for any issues we might have in the future. 10/10 read more

Our HVAC was not cooling the main room. I called Precision Air and set up a appointment for a diagnostic technician. Dennis came on time and thoroughly checked my system. Told me what was wrong, gave a reasonable price and got the part to replace. Everything done professionally and courteous. They will be my go to HVAC repair company. read more

This company is absolutely the best. Had to have new split system installed ASAP as my 22 year old unit gave out when temperatures were 111 here in Bakersfield. Owner Pete was able to help within a day. He and his technicians are so professional and knowledgeable. This is the best company for your hvac needs. read more

Pete rescued a dire situation in less than 48 hours! My 80-year old in-laws were facing 110+ degree temps without A/C and he took the personal time to investigate, advise and come up with a solution in short time. Professional, personal, great service. I am happy to have met Pete and will always recommend him and his staff for HVAC needs. read more

The representative was awesome. Arrived on time and provided honest information about the A/C unit. I recommend this company, friendly and professional. read more

I highly recommend this company as they are professional, friendly, honest and competent. Today I called at noon and the technicians were here at 2. They were proficient and diagnosed the issue within minutes. Then it was fixed in a little over an hour. They even changed out my existing air filter. The pricing is very reasonable and they actually are less expensive than another company, Econoair, which has a lower rating. Pete, the owner, is very accommodating and this company will be my go to for any air/heating issues. Thank you Precision for an awesome job! I know now why all your other reviews are also 5 stars and you deserve more than that! read more

Dennis from Precision came at 7 am to evaluate my unit that stopped working. He quickly found that the contactor unit was bad, and replaced it, while insuring the unit was clean and full of freon. Wonderful job, quick and reasonable. Fully recommend them. Eric read more

I cannot say enough good things about Pete and his crew. He helped us out last year in a pinch, and again came through for us this year. Our air went out ons a super hot day. I called him early the next morning before I got too busy, and to my pleasant surprise he called me back almost immediately. He had a service tech out to my house same day on I'm sure one of their busiest times of the year. Not only is Pete so kind and caring, his prices are reasonable as well. I will not go anywhere else for future air conditioning problems. read more

Can't say enough about Pete and his team. We were without AC for 4-5 days in 100+ temps. Called him in the morning and he met me after work at the house. Agreed to match the price of the lowest bid (who couldn't come till the following Monday) and could start the next day. Pete showed up as promised and we were up and running in 1 day. New evap coil and secondary pan. He even fixed some wires our pup had chewed on. Everything was top notch. read more

Pete and his team are by far the best experience I've had when it comes to my AC needs. He's been my go-to guy for years and he never fails to disappoint! With the summer heat rolling in and my unit not functioning properly, he was quick to get my issue resolved. His prices are fair with QUALITY WORK!! This is the guy you need to call for any AC needs hands down. read more

Precision Air and Refrigeration is the best! Pete, the owner, responds immediately to phone calls. Our AC unit failed on a Friday night in July when the daytime temperatures were in the mid 100's and the lows in the 80's. Getting the unit fixed or replaced needed to happen quickly! Pete, along with his team, Andy and Javier, had the crane in our driveway with a new AC unit at 6:00 am the following Tuesday. We were cool in our house by noon that same day. The professionalism, honesty, and teamwork among Pete, Javier, and Andy was clearly evident, and refreshing to see. I HIGHLY recommend Precision Air and Refrigeration to anyone who needs AC servicing, or has an emergency like we did in the scorching heat of July! read more

Pete and his team are awesome. He helped us out last year with our AC. We called him the other day to come check out our AC before summer. He came out the next day. That is amazing service. They are very nice people. Thank you Again. read more

Pete and Andy are awesome! Professional, personable, and pretty quick to arrive. Oh...and priced right! The 4 Ps award goes to .... (drumroll) Precision Air! Thanks guys! ps - isn't time for a checkup on the ac\heating unit? KP read more

Best service, best response, best overall! My A/C went out during the hottest week in recent memory while I had company from out of state. I called in the morning and not only did Pete answer the phone personally, he was able to fit me into his already overloaded schedule the same day. The temperature inside my house was 95 when he arrived and then had to go into the attic. NOT something they typically do after 11 am because of the excessive heat but he went well above and beyond. He was so sincere and really concerned about getting our AC restored. His price was very reasonable. He did not take advantage or charge me for an emergency call out. I would give Precision Air 10 stars if I could and am recommending them to everyone I know when they need A/C service or repair. read more

I have to say that Pete is one of the most polite and responsive business owners I have encountered in a few years. His communication and service were on point, his diagnosis sound and his pricing more than fair. I also enjoyed speaking with his wife Lisa when it came time to settle up the bill. Great locals serving their neighbors. Thank you Precision Air Team! read more

WOW! Precision Air installed a new A/C in my 2-story house, a split unit which means half the unit is in attic, upstairs through a 24x24 crawl space. This is a job that some HVAC companies wouldn't touch even over the phone, got a few quotes from companies the were willing, met with Pete from Precision, came out to house, gave me a quote without going in attic like most others did and said "it'll be no problem" I kinda raised an eyebrow after watching the song and dancing quotes before and after him, and decided to go with Precision, excellent choice! Agreed on Saturday, crew shows up Monday with a start time at 7am, I'm a prompt kinda guy so when I say 7 that doesn't meant show up at 7, crew showed up at 6:45, started working before 7, "like em already!" Crew was very professional and courteous. Called it a day around 4, was very hot in attic! Ask what was a good start time for next, told them 7, showed at 6:45, got started before 7! Finished up at 9am, cleaned up to the point you couldn't even tell they were there, no dirt, dust or footprints! Class act company from the moment I met Pete to the moment the crew left, highly, highly recommend Precision Air! read more

They Professional and honest and fast little higher than what I expected but they get the job done very happy with experience with them

Shout out to Precision Air & Refrigeration, 1901 Golden Delicious Ct. Bakersfield CA.. I came home Saturday afternoon to find my AC not working and we were in triple digit heat! I called them and they arranged for their tech to come out Sunday morning! I know that is not normal hours but they went above and beyond for our family! Thank you so very much read more

Best service! Pete was quick, very helpful, and honest! We will only use him for air conditioning services. Highly recommend!

My husband wrote a review already, but I wanted to write another one because Pete and his team were so helpful to me, personally. Our A/C died in the middle of summer (110 degrees!) on a friday night, so by the time the AHS insurance folks got back to us, they couldn't even get someone to check out our A/C until the following wednesday. We have a 2 and 4 year old, my husband was working night shifts at the time, so couldn't wait that long, especially since the repair could have taken another week! I contacted Pete on Monday and he got back to me immediately. He even came out personally that day to check out the A/C, even us though his schedule was completely booked. By Wednesday, he and his team had installed a new A/C for us at a reasonable price and we were back in the house (we had to stay in a hotel because our house was 90 degrees!). He also coordinated and showed up personally for the subsequent duct testing and final inspections. His team made a pretty difficult situation way easier for me and my family. He was extremely responsive throughout the process and he is the nicest guy!! I highly recommend Pete and his team and would give them a higher rating than 5 stars if I could. read more

Called for service, showed the same day. Two days later they installed a 5T heating and AC unit on my house without issue. I'd use these folks again. No surprises. Professional job. read more

Does not stand behind his labor or his products. I had work recently and is already faulty. Said he would come out and charge me again even though its been a short while (less than a year with maybe 6 weeks run time on the unit) and its obviously a faulty part that he installed. Consumer beware find someone who will stand behind there product and labor. Unit has only had a very small runtime on it. Now i will either have to call someone else or fix myself. read more
