I researched where to go for hot yoga while in town for one day. I'm cycling across the country and…read moreso badly miss my hot yoga. I typically do hot yoga 3 times a week. Thrive far exceeded my expectations for hot yoga. Abby was a great instructor. The room has padded floors and while it was a full class, we had space. Because it was my first time there they let me borrow a mat and a yoga towel/mat. They even have small towels for during you can use. After class I was able to use another towel to take a quick shower, all included. Thank you so much, I'll be back when I'm in Santa Fe again! The shopping center it's located in has a nice healthy grocery store and a sushi place next to it. Also recommend.

Glad that I made a reservation the day prior. It was fully booked out. I arrived 20 min prior. Was able to get mat, towel rentals (first visit with free rentals). The front desk gave a good overview of the studio. Once you walk in, to the right are cycling rooms, change rooms/shower rooms. To the left was the yoga studio. They offer a good variety of accessories, cork blocks or soft blocks. Etc. I didn't see foam roller but I could have missed it completely. Mat and mat towels are good. But it is common rental mat issue with some smells. The mat towel comes with good grip. Prana flow was good with excellent breath work. The chanting was greatly appreciated too. I found the fellow students seem to have practiced for a while. Some with great techniques and postures. Teacher here was awesome too. This seems to be a solid choice in Santa Fe. Glad that I found it and get to stretch out while in town.

We were in last week and really disappointed in our massages.  First, when I booked these massages…read moreit was with two different therapists both who I read their profiles and thought would be good for my wife and I.  At no point was I communicated to that this had changed.  Secondly, I requested a couples massage and at no point was I told that they couldn't accommodate a couples massage.  Finally, the massages we did receive were both the worst massages of our lives.  My therapist Dana Haynes kept using the sheet to rub my skin to the point I felt like layers of skin were coming off.  She didn't massage my arms, chest, abs, quads, shins, or feet in an 110 minute massage.  My wife shared that her therapist Rhonda Wendzel would not massage one side of the body even close to the other.  She left the room to close the back door and she kept adjusting the table up and down.  I shared this experience with the Spa team and requested some sort of refund. They refused my request. I have had over 500 massages in my life and this was by far the worst. Please don't give them your business as there are many other great Spas in Santa Fe.

I love Yoga. I Love the Santa Fe Community Yoga Center…read more I want to share with you just how great the SFCYC really is. If you're at all hesitant about dropping in for a class, don't be. They are the kindest sweetest nicest people here and all they want to do is share their love of Yoga with the community at large. The drop in fees are cheap, very cheap. They have daily happy hour yoga for $5, and some days they have it twice. Just go to their website, which has the full schedule, lists bios of all the instructors, and gives the fee structure. It is a small studio but what I've learned about yoga and space is that you can be shoulder to shoulder in a studio and still feel enormous space when the practice is full of heart. http://www.santafecommunityyoga.org/ Namaste

I'm not a perfect yogi but feel comfortable here both with skilled yogis and beginners in most classes. Over the last 8 months I've practiced here several times a week. Many different practice options to choose from. Always kind thoughtful mostly skilled teachers who really love yoga. Julie is definitely a favorite of the community. Her classes are full. I've noticed her practice is never the same and she is in the zone while teaching. She's a hands on instructor always watching her students and encouraging us to give just a bit more as we use our breath to move. If your visiting you must attend her class as a treat to yourself. You will leave uplifted and inspired! If you cannot make Julie's class do not miss out as other teachers will not disappoint. Truly a community studio for all!
