Pro: What an amazing, beautiful, friendly, and relatively under-appreciated city! When talks of European cities ensue, places like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, and Barcelona usually make their way to the front of the discussion. However, below the radar is this Central European gem! Prague, in my humble opinion, is simply too beautiful to capture with a camera and/or contain on a computer. The scenic landscape is adorned with St. George's Basilica, the Old Royal Palace, the Clementinum/Astronomical Tower, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, and more! I was fortunate to book an AirBnB that was walking distance to most of these attractions. The narrow city streets and cobblestone paths make the town seem more like a pedestrian town than a driver's town. Also, most folks I encountered were fluent enough in English to help with the language barrier.
Con: Like with most attractive places, crowds happen...
Bottom Line: Let your European trip take you off of the more popular paths. Visit Prague today! read more
