It does not follow municipal nor provincial by-law guidelines; made up its own policy and used the excuse that it is a non-essential business by the definition of the government to enforce it. I will not recommend nor support a business who discriminate its paying customers for medical disability. There are hundreds of other paintball field in the GTA who respect its customer and honour medical exemption and in need of customer support during the pandemic. This place does not need your financial support as much as it need its customer to wear mask and would sacrifice its positive reviews to do so.

Looking around here though, pretty impressive because they appear to have any army thing anyone could ever be looking for. The guys were super friendly and totally awesome to shoot the stuff with. When I got to the counter, the gas mask was magically priced at $50 and the price of the suspenders was doubled at $20. I ended up just getting the suspenders, but the cherry on top was that the suspenders were actually broken and missing a clamp making them pretty much unwearable. Definitely not coming back.

NOPE NO NOPE Came in…read moreon Sunday, 3 Birthday parties at the same time what a mess, overcrowded and completely unsafe. 60 dollars for like 3 games about 5 minutes long. Place was disgusting, THE TOILETS reeked and you can smell it down the hall, there's 1 toilet per gender so you can imagine how much it gets used. It's completely unsafe, the place was so understaffed they didn't even check waivers or people's gears. Some people were using guns with a PSI rating wayy too strong for what gear they give to the public. Clearly the owners are greedy, the prices are crazy it's almost 3 times what you pay for outside for paint balls and bear in mind they get supply shipments for it. But holy hell, of course their buisness comes from parties so why even try to make the prices even remotely believable. The Paint ball arena was fine, if you're a rookie be ready to be so dirty you throw away your shoes at the end of the day. Some places were very slippery and steep even though we are signed up for it we saw two people break their ankles that day. Overall, It's cheaper to buy your own gear and have a paintball party at someone's back yard than to ever plan a party bere. Absolute bonkers.

I drove 2 hours back to the store with the rifle to demonstrate how things did not "line up" and to do so would damage the bolt thus voiding the warranty (PTS Radian Model 1). Their tech (Calls himself "The Witch Doctor") took it out back to confirm. He did, but his poor weapon handling drills engaged the mag release causing it to hit pavement, breaking the feed lips and he pretended like nothing happened. Regardless, it became my problem as they refused to rectify the situation. Ordering online from them makes Aliexpress seem like Amazon Prime, but as a medically released Canadian Forces veteran, I had nothing but time so the commute to the store became a regular thing and I always made large purchases. This is just one of many issues I've had in the years I did business with them, my mental state was just not in a good enough place at the time to know any better. The only good thing I can say about them is that the store actually does have a great selection of rare items, but they ruin that fact by lying about stock on their website.

Looking for others in Canada who have ordered from hero outdoors and would be willing to file…read morecomplaints to the correct authorities about the misleading information with this company. I was told just one person filing won't get anything done but if enough people do then maybe we can fix this. The company has a whole section on why it's better to order from Canada, the last point being no delays in shipping that come with ordering from the u.s but then in the shipping fine print they say due to large amount of "overstock" they need to have storage warehouses in the u.s. There in no indication on their website as to what items are sold in storefront in Canada and what is not like I was told on the phone. There is no public information on a location of this so called u.s warehouses. They do everything possible to mislead you into thinking they strictly operate in Canada, they mislead you with ghost inventory. They mislead you on delivery times. If you've had a similar experience, if your one of the hundreds of people that wrote some form of a review about how terrible this company is. The Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement does not publish a specific, static number of complaints required to launch a formal investigation. They evaluate files dynamically based on volume and intent: The General Impression Test: Canada's federal Competition Bureau Canada judges marketing based on the "general impression" it leaves on a consumer. If a company states or heavily implies they operate a physical fulfillment warehouse in the United States to look bigger, more reliable, or better connected, but they are actually just ordering piecemeal from external American distributors (like Evike), it is a material misrepresentation. It tricks consumers into a transaction under false premises.
