Upon arrival I told the young female receptionist I had joined online through One Pass and probably needed to sign my waiver, download their app for check ins (I assumed), and get class information, etc. Instead of welcoming me in any way she told me twice they don't do One Pass. I tried assuring her I had received confirmation (from Club Pilates). She asked if perhaps my membership was through Class Pass because they didn't participate with One Pass. I told her I was given a member code to give to them. While I searched my phone for the code she exasperatedly asked for my name. It was at that time she put down the towels she was folding. She looked on her computer, and said, she found it. I signed the waiver, asked my questions - including how much private lessons cost? She replied, "oh they cost a lot of money." She never told me how much. I left. I felt so unwelcome. I wondered if she just didn't want to do her job or didn't want me there. Her sheer lack of effort, condescending, and lackadaisical attitude made me wonder should I cut my losses and find another gym? After careful consideration I decided that she didn't get to decide my fate so I scheduled my first class with Madi and loved it! I haven't seen that receptionist since and hopefully she's gone. Lol. The gym is small and intimate with reformer machines. Classes range from beginner to advanced pilates daily. The location is at the Outlets near Peets Coffee with shared parking. Like the gym but minus 2 stars for the front desk representative.

I have been coming to this studio every so often over the years and love when I am able to make it work in my schedule. Raising 4 kids from ages 14-2 is wild. But this place... this is self-care for me. I can turn off all the mom needs and really tune out the world. Truly appreciate this gem in our community!!! Located right off the freeway, Yoga Core Fit is super easy to get to even though I live in Fairfield. The studio is usually open at least 15-30 mins prior to class start time so you are able to ask questions, look around, get a vibe for things. She always has cute things in her little shopping area. As you enter the big yoga room with all the silks hanging it can feel a little intimidating but don't worry, Carol or whoever your instructor is will walk you through how to use the silks safely. I have also taken a class with Lorianna and she is awesome too!! Always feel super comfortable in her class. There are different types of aerial yoga classes so sign up for the one you feel would align best with your goals. Try one of the free ones or try the new student special! She also has a monthly unlimited plan I've been wanting to start but it's hard for me to commit to at this time. Once my oldest can drive though! Lol!!

I was disappointed at this months as there were way too many people to puppies. And many individuals chose to hold onto the puppies for long periods of time. I brought my son as I had informed him it was fun with all the puppies. Will look for another location that does this, due to this last experience.

I was too distracted to work out at home and too tired by the time my husband got home to go the gym. I needed a place where my baby could be right there next to me while I worked out as well as the accountability of group classes. When I found Mom Strong Studio, it felt like it was too good to be true! Rachel encouraged me to bring my baby to any and all classes and ensured me that the instructors would even give me modifications if I needed to baby wear during classes. For the most part, my baby and the other kids just entertain each other - running around, playing with all the toys, or even jumping in workouts with the moms. But on the days when my baby is cranky, Sarah and Cara make sure they give me exercises I can do while holding/wearing her. Even after just a couple months, I already notice huge changes in my fitness level. I'm so much stronger, my muscles are way more defined, and I actually have energy to play with my baby. The best thing, though, is that I have set time to get out of the house and be with other moms without any judgement. It's such a welcoming environment, and I am so grateful to Rachel and the instructors for creating this space in the community!

Nichollette was helpful from registration through instructing the class. The class started with an obstacle course paired with upbeat music. Although my daughter isn't exactly coordinated enough to make it through on her own, I think she enjoyed burning some energy off chasing the other kids around. After that the kids danced to music with scarfs which was a lot of fun. The class finished with parachute time which seemed to be a hit with all the ages. Overall I think the class was an excellent value and a great activity to get myself and my daughter out of the house. It also was an opportunity to meet other moms which I greatly appreciated. I will be back for this class and plan to try some of the fitness classes as well.
