A few months ago Dale performed panel maintenance and helped me understand so much about the power in my home that I decided to have Wilcox come back to do a 200 amp heavy up. The complex project was accomplished successfully, on the other hand. More recently, I called them up about troubleshooting a couple flaky GFCI breakers. The owner came out immediately (an hour later!) and I learned a lot from him about breakers. On the other hand, he came out without any spare breakers and had to make a run to Home Depot, so I ended up being charged 1.5 hours at $237 an hour (usually time past the first hour is something like $70 extra), so much more expensive than alternatives. So a solid outfit, but not my first choice.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. I was referred to them through my water heaters…read morewarranty company. The technician that came out (who I later found out was the owner) was very polite and explained that we needed a part that would arrive in a couple of days. A couple of days went by and I didn't hear anything so I reached out to the company. I spoke with the secretary who told me that the technician was not available, but she would have him to call back. Despite her promise of him calling back he never did and I proceeded to call back every day for two weeks without a response. At one point the secretary told me that the technician was in fact the owner and she had no clue why he wouldn't return my call. Normally I would have quickly called another company but I had to use this individual due to the water heater warranty company. After two weeks of calling without a response or the replacement part I ended up with a basement full of water caused by the leaking water heater that they were supposed to fix. I ended up calling another reputable plumbing company that was able to fix the issue the same day. I'm really unsure why the technician never called back, perhaps it was because he was being paid by the warranty company and felt that the job was too small. Either way I wouldn't recommend them due to the poor customer service.
