The previous rain gutter contractor didn't do a good job, so I needed a contractor who would listen to my needs and design a good solution. I normally get three quotes for any construction work, but after reading the consistent positive reviews about The Gutter Guys, I decided to take a chance on them. From the very beginning, Lorraine (scheduler) was so professional and accommodating. When Angel (estimator) came out, he was polite and he patiently listened to the back story about the problem roof section. He emailed me a design plan that exceeded my expectations. Once the job was scheduled, I was so pleased that the crew of three (Angel's dad, brother, and employee) was punctual and came in two vans, fully loaded with all of the materials. Angel's dad patiently listened to my concerns and described where the gutters would be placed to best move rainwater away from my house. He also gave me choices on the height of the rain shields to minimize water splatter. As the work progressed, Angel's dad asked me to come out to see the layout of the downspout to make sure I was okay with it. Oh, and another important note is that my house has tile shingles that can easily crack if a contractor walks on it carelessly. I had just re-roofed the entire house last year for a lot of money, so I asked the crew to please be careful to minimize cracked shingles. At the completion of the job, not one shingle was cracked! Another amazing bit is that they replaced for free and without my asking, a small rain shield at another part of the house with a 6" high shield to match the aesthetics of the 6" high shield that they installed for their contracted project. The crew finished before the estimated time, and they cleaned everything up. I'm so grateful for the amazing overall experience, and now I can sleep in peace for the upcoming El Nino storms. Kudos to The Gutter Guys for their professionalism and care!

Tom does business in a great, old-school fashion where he takes time to explain what is needed, takes pride in his work and goes above-and-beyond what the job requires. After a few days of heavy rain and wind, I had a couple of gutters which needed repair. Once the rain/wind subsided, Tom promptly came out on a Saturday to repair the gutters and, while checking the stability of the other gutters, found/repaired another gutter. Afterwards, he proceeded to clean the gutters. This type of pride and customer service is extremely hard to find nowadays as most service or repairmen want to make a quick, big buck and move on to their next job without putting in any extra effort and with as little communication as possible, whether the customer is satisfied with the job or not. Thank you, Tom! Your attention to detail and great customer service are appreciated and I am happy to refer you and Edgeline Rain Gutters to family and friends.

Tino was super polite, communicated everything clearly, took his time inspecting the roof, and was incredibly honest. So much so that he told me everything he was suggesting was a "could" and not a "must." He explained that the moisture issue we're seeing on the main floor of our house is common in many of the houses in South Bay that have a similar build style (tall and skinny, flat roof); no attic space plus heat humidity overload, and the house will literally start to sweat on the inside. In our case, he said addressing indoor temperature and humidity issues with an HVAC company should take care of the problem. However, I received no updates unless I specifically requested them, and my questions often went unanswered until I contacted the company directly. At the time of final payment, I felt the owner's tone was unnecessarily confrontational when he said I had not submitted payment quickly enough. I did not appreciate how the situation was handled. He also stated that providing customers with photos was not something the company normally does, even though I had specifically been promised regular photo updates. Based on the lack of communication and my overall customer-service experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this vendor.
