I asked Yelp for a quote for adding a box in the ceiling for a fan I stated I didn't need a switch because the fan had pull chains. . This is the shitty response I got from these guys: Hi First: By requirements code you need a disconnect switch Second: For installing ceiling fan required boxes is not two gang box(outlet box) And you can not tell any electrician to what to do because you are NOT an electrician and we are responsible for any big or small works. My heater broke and I called another big company because they offered a free estimate and it was over $600. Adel did the same repair, came quickly and charged me about half off that after working for two and half hours or so and included materials. What I appreciated most was when he mentioned he made it a priority because he lived nearby in Carmichael and knew how cold it was. An honest and responsive electrician is hard to find.
