The studio has a great atmosphere, from the bamboo floors to the chiming fountain that greets you as you walk in the door. Ananta has created a real yoga community, where the teachers know your name and the students know each other. Beginners and seasoned yogis will both find themselves at new places in their practice after a few classes at Ananta. They also hold specialty workshops for beginners, lower back problems, knitters, and golfers. I recommend this studio to anyone in the area, especially since it's conveniently located right off Route 23. If you want to find yourself in a peaceful place, go to Ananta Yoga!

I heard about Carol's Reiki services through a friend and decided after having a lot of back pain…read morethat I would give it a try! When I walked through the doors I thought our session would be focused on my back pain, what I didn't realize is that this session would change me completely on every level possible. Aside from my back pain, I had recently lost my father 7 months ago and had my second son 2 months after he passed. To say I hit a wall would be an understatement. Since my father passed I have been experiencing bouts of anxiety, depression and anger and felt as though I was just floating from one day to the next. I was not fully enjoying what was going on around me as I did before. After this session I literally felt like all of that was just lifted right out of my body and I felt more like myself than I had in a very long time. My anxiety was not as severe, I felt light and happy and I just felt like everything was okay again. During our session my father happened to come through to Carol and the messages he delivered were beautiful. It was a true gift that I did not even expect to receive. The messages from my father coupled with the Reiki session helped me to grieve in a MUCH healthier way. It's hard to put into words how much better I feel in just 24 hours. Happy to report my back is much better too :). If you are looking for a full body, mind and spirit re-boot I would not hesitate one moment to book your appointment. Carol is a rare angel to find and is so gifted at what she does. So happy I ended up in her office/sanctuary.

I very rarely write reviews but wanted to ensure everyone considering Deborah has the opportunity…read moreto have a session with her. I did a Tao Hands/Distance Reiki session. I've done Reiki a couple of times before but never felt a huge difference. With Deborah, it was different. During the session, Deborah asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. She was positive and warm, and made me feel very comfortable. She also introduced me to flower essences, which I hadn't heard of prior. During the healing session, I yawned a lot (like I was releasing a lot of repressed energy!). Afterwards, I felt relaxed - it was clear that the session truly worked although it wasn't done in person, which I was a little nervous about at first. Deborah also quickly followed up after our session with additional information and promptly responded to a follow up question I had about flower essences. It's been four days since our session, and my chronic neck pain that I've had for 10 weeks is significantly better - in a way my chiropractor couldn't help. I'm really glad I made the investment in my healing session with Deborah and now understand why she has so many positive, genuine reviews (she's not compensating us or giving us discounts to write these, like some businesses do!). I'm very grateful to have found Deborah - she is truly gifted.
