When I walked through the doors I thought our session would be focused on my back pain, what I didn't realize is that this session would change me completely on every level possible. Aside from my back pain, I had recently lost my father 7 months ago and had my second son 2 months after he passed. To say I hit a wall would be an understatement. Since my father passed I have been experiencing bouts of anxiety, depression and anger and felt as though I was just floating from one day to the next. After this session I literally felt like all of that was just lifted right out of my body and I felt more like myself than I had in a very long time. I was surprised how easily I scored an appt for what I imagine to be a busy time on a Saturday, Noon-12:30 pm. Try getting a nail appt at that time, not gonna happen, at least not last minute. But maybe here, because they do manicures [and pedicures, I suppose] too. The place sits at a corner near an odd intersection, there is no parking lot but if you are lucky you can maybe get one of the two spots they have on the side walk or go around the block, it's residential parking. When I arrived there was one person getting a foot massge/reflexology, idk, but the place was empty. The lady finished up the massage and when she got up, she went and sat behind the manicure table. So I was actually the only customer. They set me up and my journey to detoxing began. The ladies are sisters and they were absolutely friendly and down to earth. The best part of this experience was waiting to find out what color the water was going to change to. It was a rusty red brown; toxins what could be cigarettes (I dont smoke lol), air pollution, cholesterol etc...who knows. I don't think I'd do it again, only because there is no proven fact that the color change is from metals coming out of my body. It could be the electricity and the salts in the water that create that color. Anyhow, it was fun and I enjoyed a good chat.

I've done Reiki a couple of times before but never felt a huge difference. With Deborah, it was different. During the session, Deborah asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. She was positive and warm, and made me feel very comfortable. She also introduced me to flower essences, which I hadn't heard of prior. During the healing session, I yawned a lot (like I was releasing a lot of repressed energy!). Afterwards, I felt relaxed - it was clear that the session truly worked although it wasn't done in person, which I was a little nervous about at first. Deborah also quickly followed up after our session with additional information and promptly responded to a follow up question I had about flower essences. It's been four days since our session, and my chronic neck pain that I've had for 10 weeks is significantly better - in a way my chiropractor couldn't help.
