I can't say enough great things about this company!…read more I recently booked Black a label Djs as a DJ and Karaoke DJ for a private party in my home on the East side of Milwaukee. About a week before the event, he took time out of his busy schedule to come to our home and survey the layout. He suggested speaker and lighting placement, and let us pick the color of our lighting. The best part of the meeting: he let us know that he would be able to hookup our existing flat screen TV to use for the lyrics, instead of a tiny monitor. Fabulous! Not only did he show up exactly on time, he coordinated with me about the exact time I wanted him to arrive, as to not interfere with the caterers, florists and cake decorators. He had plenty of gear, but once it was set up, it took up barely any space at all! He also put on some mood music while we were getting ready, and it really fired us up! We had asked for several songs to be played at certain times as the evening progressed. Not only was he able to accommodate our odd playlist, but he also integrated karaoke throughout the evening whenever someone wanted to sing...quite seamlessly too! Guests were also able to request songs and were rewarded with a smile from Evan every time. There was never a quiet moment. The karaoke lyrics on my wall-mounted TV were awesome - everyone was able to see the words and sing along! Another highlight of the evening was when I saw a guest ask how the equipment worked. Before my eyes, Evan transformed my guest into a full-blown DJ -mixing music with headphones and all!!! It was a riot! The smiles on both the DJ's and my guest's faces were absolutely priceless. Definitely a highlight of the evening! The dance floor was hopping all night long, the guests were happy, the volume was perfect, and there was never any feedback or awkward silences. I have, and will continue to recommend Black Label Djs to anyone who is looking to have a DJ at their event. I have full confidence that he can pull off any event - whether it is a corporate party, a wedding, a private party, a tailgate...he was fabulous!!

Look at their pictures, they look like they're having a great time! After we met with Ramsey at Colectivo, we were sold on using Milwaukee Airwaves. We could tell by his personality that he wasn't going to chicken dance us to death, or limbo us to the floor, but that Milwaukee Airwaves was going to pay attention to what we wanted and what would work for our guests. Seriously, we walked out the door singing all the "yes" that we could possibly sing. We used Milwaukee Airwaves for our ceremony and our reception. The entire planning process was seamless from when Ramsey matched us with our DJ (DJ Steve) to our FaceTime with Steve to go over any special requests or the day of, to walking out the door at the end of the night. They were set-up on time for our ceremony and reception, lit the room up beautifully, and totally felt the vibe of the night. What was awesome was that Steve and his assistant did not try to star in our wedding and Steve kept checking on us throughout the night to ask us if we were okay or if we needed anything, heck, he even brought us a pack of gum to chew after dinner. What a guy! Honestly, our day was as perfect as we could have hoped it would be, and our guests had a blast. We couldn't have asked for better DJs or a better day...DJs can fully make or break your entire evening and Milwaukee Airwaves made ours amazing. Thank you, Milwaukee Airwaves, from the bottom of our hearts!

As they are one of the most known DJ services in the area, this is the company we would choose anyway. We met our DJ, Brady, virtually before the event. He was (and is) super chill and seems to truly enjoy his profession. We made a playlist and a list of "must hear" songs, which he used to do his thing. Brady was very attentive to us - bride & groom - when we requested songs as we were all having fun on the dance floor. There were small things we noticed throughout the event that left us a little disappointed. The PA microphone was a little soft so guests had a difficult time hearing announcements. Also we had made a special cut of our first dance song that seemed to get lost in the mix. Other than those details, everything was amazing! We also got a photo booth and it was loved by everyone! It's a fun touch to any event and totally worth it. We recommend MKE Airwaves to anyone looking for a good time & talented DJ for their event!

Our wedding was set for June 2020, but due to COVID-19, it was cancelled by the venue. We paid him in full and he has refused to re-work our contract and refund any portion of the total; we went from 3 events for 350 people, to 1 event for 50 people. That's over $5,000. During the start of the pandemic Ruki was unresponsive other than sending us a mass client email stating as per his contract "no refunds under any circumstance". We sought legal counsel, and during a pandemic this language in a contract is void. We called him, emailed him, posted a press release, sent a legal demand letter, all with no reply. I posted my experience on my Facebook page (global post under 'Ankit Rawal') and received numerous comments with him owing thousands of dollars to others unrelated to this year's wedding cancellations. With his lack of reply to outreach for weeks, he had the audacity to comment on my Facebook post which is the first and only time we have heard from him during the pandemic. I encourage anyone considering to hire him to read this post, it is unfiltered and authentic, unlike his web page here. https://www.facebook.com/ankit.rawal.16/posts/10100160365239199 As further example of his unethical practices, he had a lawyer reach out to us to settle and took ample time in between outreach, delaying resolution. 2 months later, he has stopped responding to even his lawyer. His lawyer wished us the best. We are currently in the process of filing a lawsuit in small claims court against him as keeping full monetary payment for services not rendered is not only unethical, but a breach of contract. We are also filing this lawsuit with others who he has taken money from for work performed and then not paid. Our experience has deeply soured the wedding planning process. We only hope to help avoid this for other couples.
