The area is dangerous with panhandlers who are aggressive. That area of Flint is getting worse. All in all it's way too expensive for what they offer. Planet Fitness is better customer service so I joined there.

Which explains why no one even looked twice at the woman with all the facial tattoos or the elderly woman riding the bike in her church clothes with her purse draped across the handlebars like it was an actual purse hook. Nope. No one gave them even as much as a second glance. Except me. The one oddity that threw me off was where it was actually located. My GPS didn't direct me into the mall parking lot. It should've. It's in the mall. And that's a little weird when you look over and see where a wall should be is actually the inside of the mall. "Oh heyyyyyy Payless! Hiiii people walking into Champs!" Today at 11am at the Pierson Rd YMCA facility I used their family room to change in the shower area…read moreand was disgusted to find the shower area wall had the same unknown filth that I used yesterday 4/23/25) I voiced my concern to another patron who stated she saw that same filth two days ago and got the female who (allegedly) stated that she cleans and sanitize the walls and shower everyday and leaves at 2pm. Well folks, how can that be when the water class I participate in at 11am yesterday and today that only lasts 45-mins and the the stain is still there? Its a shame that they hire people to do a job and too lazy to do it and don't clean properly! As a member I expect the facilities that I use to be CLEAN & SANITIZED with people they hire to do their JOB! As the photos show the first photo is the so-called cleaning of the crap, 2nd photo still see the filth after cleaning attempt, 3rd photo still see the filth and the last photo is the initial filth that was there for a few days disgusting! My daughter is only one and is new to day care and she cried when I went to drop her off, the workers did not engage with us to try and help so I had to leave the gym and go home. Just expected approachable workers that would engage with the kids more. I know it's just a YMCA day care but as a preschool teacher myself, I was very disappointed with the atmosphere the workers of the daycare gave off. Also! Went to a swim class for my one year old daughter and paid 40$ the whole class the teacher just swims around and watches us throw a toy with our child. 30 minute class and he says get a toy at the start of class and ok good class at the end of the class. Not worth 40$ to me.
