Today at 11am at the Pierson Rd YMCA facility I used their family room to change in the shower area and was disgusted to find the shower area wall had the same unknown filth that I used yesterday 4/23/25) I voiced my concern to another patron who stated she saw that same filth two days ago and got the female who (allegedly) stated that she cleans and sanitize the walls and shower everyday and leaves at 2pm. Well folks, how can that be when the water class I participate in at 11am yesterday and today that only lasts 45-mins and the the stain is still there? Its a shame that they hire people to do a job and too lazy to do it and don't clean properly! As a member I expect the facilities that I use to be CLEAN & SANITIZED with people they hire to do their JOB! As the photos show the first photo is the so-called cleaning of the crap, 2nd photo still see the filth after cleaning attempt, 3rd photo still see the filth and the last photo is the initial filth that was there for a few days disgusting! This cleaning lady called herself cleaning that filth!! Well folks you all can be the judge...smh. read more

They have childcare but every time I drop off my daughter they are sitting on their phones not interacting with any of the children. My daughter is only one and is new to day care and she cried when I went to drop her off, the workers did not engage with us to try and help so I had to leave the gym and go home. Just expected approachable workers that would engage with the kids more. I know it's just a YMCA day care but as a preschool teacher myself, I was very disappointed with the atmosphere the workers of the daycare gave off. Also! Went to a swim class for my one year old daughter and paid 40$ the whole class the teacher just swims around and watches us throw a toy with our child. 30 minute class and he says get a toy at the start of class and ok good class at the end of the class. Not worth 40$ to me. read more

The gym at this facility is awesome. The pool ( the whole reason I joined ) is lack luster. I went there to do my laps during adult lap swim and there were only three lanes roped off. One of which was occupied by a lady and, a four year old. I'm sorry but, this is unacceptable. I don't go to ADULT lap swim to swim with children. I don't break the rules. I swim at the Y downtown now they have a better pool and, the schedule is followed and, respected there. read more

Go to this gym every other morning. I absolutely love it and would recommend anyone to join

Great place to work out and train! The pool is always warm and clean. New locker rooms and nice lockers. The staff is always ready to help and personal trainers if you need one. There is also day-care for in the morning (max is 2 hours) Overall its a great facility and I would recommend it to anyone! read more

I love this place! The staff is friendly and they offer several group classes to whip you into shape!

This is the absolute worst gym I have ever went to. I had a terrible experience with the childcare center. Apparently the staff here feels that it's acceptable to let your toddler wonder around the gym alone after being dropped off at the child care center. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone. read more
