The area is dangerous with panhandlers who are aggressive. That area of Flint is getting worse. All in all it's way too expensive for what they offer. Planet Fitness is better customer service so I joined there.

Apart from that, it features plenty of fitness classes, a well laid-out weight room and other recreational activities. Membership rates are by no means on the low-end of the spectrum like Planet Fitness, but alumni can join at a substantial discount. Day passes are also available. I thought I should try getting out and the gym was the only option since there isn't anything exciting to do in Michigan compared to California and the West Coast in general. I just started my membership but I'm going to cancel it. Sucks they can't do it via phone and I don't have the option in the app to cancel. I think they should change it just incase someone is out of town and can't get back to town due to any unforeseen circumstances. I was able to pause my 24 hour membership when I got stuck out of town a few years ago with an unexpected extended stay. I also thought they provided towels and the soap in the showers.
