Stellar humans, stellar service... I'm leaving a review for…read moreservice (the most amaaaazing service!) that I just received....over the phone! Now that's a first! The power to my house trips last night (has happened before and husband of course fixed it in seconds) and of course it happens again while he's out of town and of course I can't seem to get it to work. I switch all of the buttons to off and then back to on. One section (living room and dining room) seems to be stuck in the off setting. I try to force it over to the left, ON setting and it won't budge. Turned everything else back off and on. In different order haha (this is when I start to feel like a silly girl and about cry). Husband's in the desert with no phone service. I didn't want to call an electrician because I knew it was a simple problem that I just couldn't seem to figure out. I called a few that quoted me $250-$350 for 'troubleshoot and repair' visit. I told the person over the phone I knew it would be a 3 minute job. That my (power lineman) husband would be so disappointed if I called for a simple circuit box hand holding (ugh). I then came across Power Link Electrical. Sean answers the phone. I explained to him what was going on and asked for a quote. He then asked me to send him a photo of the circuit breaker box and that he'd walk me through it. Whhaaaattt?!! I squealed gratitude and texted him the photos. He called me and told me the buttons that aren't going over to the left are tripped (they looked like they were stuck on off to me, turns out they were in the middle, tripped) and that I had to push them over to the right, hard and that's off. And sure enough, I was able to click them all the way over to the left to on. I know there some guys and maybe girls reading this laughing. Hey, I knew it was a simple problem that I wasn't getting. The power's back on. I'm so, so grateful for Sean and his kindness. He could've easily quoted me a price and come out. He didn't make me feel like a stupid little girl wasting his time. I'm overcome with gratitude for his helpfulness and kindness when that seems to be lacking these days in our world. I whole heartedly recommend this company to ANYONE. I will definitely be sharing this experience with my husband and we will be calling them in the future for work around our house in Vista that we bought back in August. He assessed the job thoroughly, removing several panels to get a real understanding of my antique electrical system (none of the other contractors I called took this step). His estimate was the best, and far below the highest estimate that I had received -- it pays to shop around. While assessing my system, Brian noticed a problem with one of my lighting fixtures and fixed it on the spot, apparently because he loves electrical work -- he wouldn't take any money. Brian coordinated with other PPE professionals to obtain the necessary permits, and his team of three worked all day to install a new panel and bring order out of chaos. Other contractors cited "problems" with my old system that would cause extra work/expense, but Brian dismissed these, demonstrating rare integrity and honesty. I was in distress over a situation with a new washer/dryer installation that required a licensed electrician within a short timeframe. (Jason is also insured.) I found him by all his 5-star reviews on the internet. Jason was professional, helpful and kind. He listened to my need, asked for photos to help him identify the issue prior to arrival, and came first thing the next morning with his son Caleb (who is being trained and is a great sidekick helping his dad). Jason quickly identified the problem that required replacing a grounding wire for the new digital dryer technology and to ensure safety. He said he would also install a new breaker and place the new outlet in a more convenient spot for installation of the new W/D set. He made arrangements to come back the following morning with the needed supplies. It is an older, solid-built home. It wasn't an easy fix and required patience and persistence especially to get the line through small and thick materials within confined spaces. They worked tirelessly to complete the job without complaint and were kind and provided explanation throughout the process. Jason also looked at my dishwasher to determine that there was no power and found the problem to be at the junction at the floor. He corrected that, but the dishwasher is older and is not working correctly and is being replaced. He deemed it was a problem with the dishwasher and not an electrical issue. I am extremely satisfied with Jason and his son Caleb, the knowledge they brought, their attention to detail, the tenacity to complete the work professionally in a timely manner, and their kindness and reassurance to me. The inspection price was very reasonable and he was able to check out the house quickly. The sellers used him to update the electrical system before we moved into the house. Randall, Matthew and Jody did the bulk of the work with Dustin coming in and doing some finish up work. It was a large job but I finally got the correct outlet for the dryer, all electrical up to code and had everything completed in a day, even the labeling of the panel.
