My sister went into the store this evening (October 4,2026) around 6:50 pm as I'm typing this there…read moreare two people in the store. A woman at the register and a white man on the floor. He made eye contact with my sister then turned his back and pretended to be doing other things. She tried to get his attention again and he kept touching random things to make it seem like he was preoccupied. So she tried to get his attention again yet he remained hovering near the register after making eye contact with my sister yet again while avoiding her at all costs. My sister then yells out excusseeee me loud enough the front of the store could hear it as well as the other customers because there weren't many people in the store. No response whatsoever but he made eye contact with her AGAIN . So I suggested she call the store she's and stand in their faces while they answer. They answer the phone while I'm on three way and my sister proceeds to ask why she's being ignored when she yelled for help and the man is refusing to acknowledge her despite her efforts. She laughs and cuts her off and tells her she is leaving her duties at the register to come to the back of the store to help my sister.which lets me know that she's not only aware of his actions she is entertained by him and racist antics. If you can't employ people that can do their job and help all patrons that come in the store to make purchases then this store shouldn't be operating at all. Train your employees to understand that racism is not ok and they are an employee of the store not the owner and this behavior is not tolerated.

Placed the order online, got the "it's ready" email, went in during a weekday and was out fairly quickly. The only thing that slowed it down was the staff member having to enter all my license info manually because their reader doesn't seem to work with the newer licenses the DMV sends out now. I just had to verify everything was correct on the screen afterward. Kind of unfortunate because having the a newer reader or another workaround would definitely save some time. I did some comparing around some local gun shops near me and it comes out way more. I believe I'm getting a good deal buying from Sportsman's Warehouse. Overall, customer service was friendly and everything went smoothly. Definitely recommend going during the week if you can. Weekends can get pretty busy.

The staff is incredibly slowwwwww, while I understand providing a good customer experience, they don't know how to manage their queue of customers. I wanted to support a local business but should have just order the optic off Amazon for the same price and saved myself time and frustration. So far I've been here 45 minutes and nobody has called a single name. I was hopeful this place would be better than sportsman's but I was wrong. It's somehow worse. My name was finally called, from being called to walking out took sub 5 minutes. Again poor queue management.

They have a good amount of long guns for sale. And their handgun selection was quite the same. As far as price, Turner's is basically trading blows with Sportsman's Warehouse. There are some guns that can be had cheaper at Sportsman's. But Turner's also have good deals and I feel that they have more selection than the competitor. In all, I am just glad that Turner's finally trekked their to the East Bay.

I was greeted, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. I asked about a couple of specific shoes I was interested in, and they didn't have any in stock or even alternative color options. I tried asking about another style, and they offered me a much larger size to try--even though I had already given my correct size, which didn't make much sense. The staff didn't seem very engaged or knowledgeable about the products. Customer service felt lacking, and overall it didn't seem like there was much effort to help. This experience reminded me why I usually go elsewhere--other stores tend to be more knowledgeable and attentive. I'd recommend saving your time and checking out Road Runner Sports in Walnut Creek or Campbell (if you are ever in the area) who have better product knowledge and customer service.
