I started working with Driven Auto Brokers because they were the first to respond when I sent out…read moremy quote request to multiple auto brokers on Yelp (literally responded in two minutes). All the other auto brokers not only took forever to respond (days sometimes) but didn't even try to come up with alternatives for me when they couldn't find what I wanted. Other brokers were full of excuses but not George. I worked with George, from Driven, throughout the entire process and he was super responsive with the quickest turnaround times. He was easy to work with, always on top of everything, and answered all my questions. Unlike other auto brokers I had been working with, George made sure to stick to ALL the parameters I gave him and looked for the best price he could find. While other brokers wasted my time by trying to talk me out of what I wanted (probably because they couldn't find it under my budget), George didn't try to fight me on what I wanted and got to working right away. He got back to me with something in less than 20 hours that was $2,800 under my budget. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right car. I wanted the Bolt. What he found was the Volt. Understandably, he got those mixed up but he was able to get back to me an hour later with a quote for proper car. Although the out-the-door price was $2,300 over what I was asking for, it was still $228 lower than the price I got when I was doing my own research a month prior. I knew I wasn't going to get a better price than that because there were only four certified pre-owned Bolts within a 500-mile radius when I was shopping around getting out-the-door quotes from dealerships, and most of them didn't have all the things I wanted. So not only was I getting a deal, but it had EVERYTHING I was asking for: the color, the mileage, the heated seats, and it was certified pre-owned. Before I went in to test drive the car - my plan was to drive away with the car if I liked it and everything seemed fine - the dealer had me sign a Purchase Contract in order to hold the car for me until the weekend when I could drive down there to pick it up. I noticed that the contract was $10.46 more than what George had quoted me. When I bugged him about it, he agreed to send me a $10 Amazon gift card to appease my displeasure. When I got to the dealership, test drove the car and liked it, they had me sign an Options Contract so that I could drive away with the car agreeing that my credit union - that I was financing the car through - would send them the payment check within seven days. After the deal went through and all the paperwork was signed, George followed up with me to make sure everything went according to plan and emailed over that Amazon gift card he owed me. All-in-all, I was very happy with the entire car-buying experience while I was working with George. He did all the hard work and made it stress- and hassle-free for me. All I had to do was go in, test the car out, sign some paperwork, and off I went with the car I wanted. If you want someone who can produce results quickly, George is definitely your man.

My dad and I rented a motorhome from Cruise America to drive my aunt and her spouse from Missouri…read moreto California. The vehicle had a missing dipstick tube, a real safety issue their own mechanic waved off with "just don't insert it too far." A propane leak forced me to shut off the system mid-trip, which meant no refrigeration for my sister-in-law's insulin and three unplanned nights in hotels. I thought that would have been the hard part but turns out that was the easier part of our trip. When my dad returned the vehicle, the woman working the counter refused to even look at the paperwork, told him "that's not my problem," when he described the issues and wouldn't give me her name. When he started taking photos of the RV to document the return, she ran out, shouted profanity, and shoved HIM, then called 911 and told the dispatcher he was intoxicated and threatening her. None of that was true. Two Downey PD officers responded, and did not cite, arrest, or asked him to leave. In fact, they asked if he wanted to file a charge of assault. I later learned she is the actual owner of this Xpress Auto Rental location, not just an employee, which makes the behavior even harder to excuse, since there's no manager above her to hold this accountable. My dad is in his 70s and it was really hard to witness this business owner screaming, pushing and falsely claiming untrue things. Cruise America corporate reviewed my complaint and refunded the full amount we were owed, which tells you they took this seriously. I waited to review until the complaint was settled but if you are considering renting here, know that this is who you'll be dealing with, and does someone like that really deserve your money.
