Table Mountain ended up being the best value option for my specific project. They weren't the cheapest (although they were close), but they def were not the most expensive either. And they held 100% to their initial bid, even though there were some unforeseen things that came up - which is what I was most worried about: getting a low estimate, then raising the price along the way. This never happened. Everyone that showed up was polite and respectful, and they all seemed to know what they were doing. And I am 100% happy with the quality of the work. In fact, when the city of Denver inspector showed up and asked who did the work and I told him, he said Table Mountain's work is always good (and he quickly buzzed through the rest of the inspection - which is a huge relief since inspectors can get very nit-picky if they don't think something was done exactly how they like it). Be prepared to pay exactly according to the schedule, which is reasonable in this industry. They show up on time, and expect payment on time. On this, Robert was firm, and I can't say I blame him. When I called to request more immediate service in line with what was promised, the representative on the phone argued with me, accused my spouse of making errors that led to the cancelled service, and was extremely rude to me; Robert, whoever answered your phone at 2:36pm today needs a serious performance review, because as an HR rep myself, I was absolutely appalled at how I was spoken to after the company made a critical scheduling error; if my staff spoke to a customer that way they would be fired. Talking over me, telling lies, and being an absolute asshole is not an acceptable way to remedy a service issue. To anybody reading this, this company is disrespectful, unprofessional and untrustworthy. I advise anybody considering this company's service to consider if would allow individuals providing such terrible customer service over the phone to enter their home at all. I asked them to look at all the new electrical work and within minutes they identified several significant issues (not the first problem I had with the contractor I hired to do the reno) and on my request provided a quote to correct the issues. Ben and Jeff came out the next week and spent 4 hours correcting the problems (upgrading breakers, code compliance, adding GFI protection, and adding boxes) in my new kitchen. They had to add a box to the exterior wall of my kitchen (since it was already finished) so they also installed a very nice exterior outlet. GOOD ELECTRIC SERVICE…read more I REALLY needed a "Good" electrician! My project of adding central A/C to each of the units in my Washington Park 4-plex had turned into a nightmare. The company I had chosen for the HVAC portion of this project had completed their end of the work promptly and professionally For the electrical portion of this project I used a licensed electrician who had done a few smaller jobs on my building in the past. After a week's worth of work my new A/C's were up and running. Then came the phone call. A new tenant had received an electric bill for $300 for 2 weeks of electricity. The electrician I had hired had jury rigged the wiring to get the proper voltage to each A/C unit and one tenant was paying for 3 A/C's. While trying to figure out what was going on I discovered that in gaining access to the wiring that electrician had used a hammer to beat holes in the walls of my beautiful apartment building which he left unrepaired. A quick check with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) revealed that his license had been revoked 2 months earlier, Not only had my building been vandalized by this criminal, his jury-rigging had jeopardized the safety of my tenants and the safety of the building. In the following days I contacted a total of 15 electricians looking for someone to correct these hazardous issues. More than 1/2 had no interest in the job once I described the situation. A few others came to look at the job then never got back to me. Most appeared to lack the expertise or knowledge to structure, manage, and oversee this fairly large and complex project. I needed an electrician with the ability to work with Xcel, to work with a design engineer, to work with the city, and to navigate the permitting process.
