We had a good experience with Power overall. The team was professional and personable, and our consultant, Corinne, was very knowledgeable and thorough. The installation crew completed quality work and made the process easy from start to finish. Communication and scheduling could have been better--the arrival time changed several times, including the day of installation. We also didn't love how the follow-up was handled, as they arrived late and ultimately made us late for work. The car-salesman-style sales approach wasn't particularly well received either. That said, we're satisfied overall and love our new windows so far! read more

Sales guy Tom Came Door To Door in this unincorporated area in Palm Beach Gardens, he set up an appt to have someone to come by & pitch the sales BullShit..the young man Ryan came by at 6pm, and its now 10:30 p.m. & this guy doesn't want to leave, Me being X-New Yorker, l can't help but speak my mind, & told him its late and u should leave, Nope he hasn't Budged! Boy this guy is stupid, I read the reviews on Reddit about someone warning others about this company, And Every Word is Correct about what they do & when they come , they don't want to leave and they OVER STAYED THEIR WELCOME!! This company will not stip harassing me!!!! I have 3 different signs up saying no soliciting, no knocking, do nit ring doorbell. I work nights and my sleep is precious to me,have 3 dogs who all bark if anyone comes to the door. Once I'm awake thats it, there is no going back. These people will not stop, no matter how many times i say STOP! I have almost had to involve police twice, one ypung man thought it was so funny that he upset me he stood at the end of my driveway taunting me! The company specifically tells their workers to IGNORE no soliciting signs and to knock anyway. What a horrible business practice! I would never want to work with such a disrespectful business, that should be criminal in my opinion. Highly highly hoghly recommend using a business that doesnt agree with harassing people. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of this installation. The photos speak for themselves--this looks like a rushed job with little attention to detail. The caulking around the door frame is uneven, messy, and inconsistently applied. In some areas it's clearly over-applied and smeared. The threshold area is just as bad. The sealant is globbed on along the bottom instead of being cleanly finished. It not only looks terrible, but also raises concerns about whether it will even hold up over time. Inside, there is uneven caulking that again looks rushed and globbed on. This is not only for the front door but the back one as well. For something that should be a basic, professional install, this is unacceptable. I expected clean lines, precision, and a finished look--what I got instead feels like a DIY job done in a hurry. I would not recommend this contractor unless they significantly improve their workmanship and attention to detail. read more

I did not have a good experience with Power Home Remodeling group in Riverview (awhile back now) - recommend you avoid them if you have a home in Hillsborough county; it appears they also cover Pinellas, Manatee & Sarasota counties - this company has locations across different states, all averaging 2-2.5 stars from thousands of reviewers. Even though this is 2026 and home owners are educated thanks to Grok, ChatGPT & various research options - Power Home Remodeling management has trained their sales reps to use the antiquated high pressure, aggressive (& deceitful) sales tactics - most of these sales reps earn $200-300k+/year and don't care about you once you buy their overpriced products. The many hour long sales pitch is worse than sitting through a timeshare presentation (where at least you get a free vacation) - you get nothing for your time & stressful experience with this company. The quote was overpriced of course - the sales rep continued to make up fake "discounts" & calling the manager in hopes of forcing to sign the same day - didn't want to email me a quote like other professional home remodeling companies do. It's all about high pressure sales - if you see these guys, politely tell them to get lost and NEVER let them in your home, or give them any contact information for any reason or they'll keep calling you to get the sales guy back in your home. read more

Estimator appeared on time, no business cards, and started asking personal questions that might be construed as credit worthiness. He then launched into an advertising promotion on how his organization was a one-stop home remodeling business. So we're 10 minutes in and he hasn't asked about the reason I requested an estimate--a leak in the ceiling that could be related to the roof. Finally he gets around to talking about the roof adding that he'd include an unwanted estimate for gutters. Suddenly he's discussing how he's there to protect the house which definitely needs gutters. I finally advised him that I protect my house and he's there to bid the job that I approve. So clearly, his commission knocked down a couple of steps, he goes out to check the roof. Ten minutes later, he's back with cell pictures that he says proves that I need gutters. I told him the "estimate" was over and go before he could get any further. My wife set up the home visit because Power Home Remodeling was "doing work in the area." A more questionable business I only found once before, and turned them over to local police. read more

I just finished my 2nd home project with Power Home Remodeling. Let me tell you, these guys do not disappoint. From the very 1st meeting with my amazing and knowledgeable Remodeling Consultants (Marcus McClelland & Bry Hurt) to the very last meeting with my wonderful Quality Assurance guy Kyle Schuler... And all the incredibly hard working men in between. They are there with you every step of the way. The work crews amazed me every day (3 day project). I had roofing, soffit, fascia and gutters done. Marco's crew, wow these guys are super impressive. They worked hard & long hours in the intense FL summer heat and they did it with a smile. Every crew was respectful of my property and did a really great job of cleaning up. I could see that every guy on every crew took pride in their work and making sure I would be pleased with the end product. Every single person on my project from beginning to end "showed up" and I dont just mean they showed up to do a job. They "showed up" as ambassadors to represent a very reputable company. They showed up to make sure you were getting exactly what you wanted, to work hard for you and make sure the job was done and done right. After my 1st project (Windows) I promised if I was going to do another one that I would go through Power Home Remodeling and I kept that promise. I will always trust this company with my projects and to "Show Up", because they will every single time. Thank You to everyone involved with my projects, You really are the very Best of the Best read more

I had a door-to-door solicitor convince me to set up an in-home window consultation. The initial salesperson, John, arrived 30 minutes late for a 9:00 AM appointment. I explicitly told him upfront that I was not purchasing today and was planning this project 10 to 12 months out. Despite confirming that the estimate would be good for a year, he spent the rest of the meeting running a textbook high-pressure "one-call close" presentation. He resorted to transparent scare tactics, claiming minor cosmetic window cracks were causing major structural leaks and repeatedly pushed financing options that I flatly rejected. He never even showed me a physical sample of the window. After walking out to his vehicle then coming back, his initial quote of $25,000 miraculously dropped to $18,000 if I signed "today." I stayed firm, and he ended up overstaying his welcome by 45 minutes before leaving. The second part of the experience was even worse. After being bombarded with daily phone calls from Power Home Remolding that left no voicemails, I finally answered. They acknowledged John's visit and offered to send a someone out to give me a lower price. I agreed to the appointment. However, during a confirmation call on the day of the appointment, the representative abruptly informed me that my wife must be present for them to visit. When I explained that she wasn't at the first meeting and wouldn't be at this one, they canceled the appointment on the spot. This company does not care about your timeline, your preferences, or giving you a fair price. They only care about trapping both homeowners in a room to force a same-day contract signature. If you want transparent pricing and professional customer service, look elsewhere. read more

Replaced all the windows on my house in beige almost $60k worth. Had issues with a few of the windows and they would only replace with white windows and not beige. We spent over 13k on 2 windows from Power for the front of our house. They went on and on about the lifetime warranty. One of the widows had a seal failure after about 5 years and moisture began to accumulate in the widow. Both windows contained gothic arch grid and were visible from the front of the house. They were not able to get the same matching window grid, so they said that they would replace one window and it would look completely different than the other. That would leave us with 2 very different windows on the front wall of the house which would look ridiculous from the street. To top it all off, they were very very rude and condescending. I will never give this company another penny again. If they come knocking on your door, hide! read more

I hired Power Home Remodeling to install 3 windows and a sliding glass door. It did not pass inspection because the sliding glass door was missing screws. They did complete correcting the problems on the inspection report. My installation was done on 5-6-2026 and I was told when I signed and paid $14,535.64, that they would email my receipt. However, I am still trying to get my receipt for what work was done and the amount of money I paid. Florida has a home program which will reimburse $10,000.00 of the cost. But I can NOT even apply for reimbursement when this UNPROFESSIONAL company will NOT give me a receipt documenting what I paid. On 6-8-2026, I spoke to Manager Bobby who told me that there is only one person who processes the paperwork and because they do approx. 30 installs a day he is always behind. I explained to Bobby that I need to recover my money and he would only keep repeating himself yet promised that I would receive my receipt by 6-12-2026. It is 6-14-2026 and I am STILL waiting to get my receipt. This is so WRONG! I would never use this company again or recommend it to anyone! Don't do anything with this company. A total of 4 canvassers came to my door. They are aggressive and one of them was harrasing me and I was worried for my safety. I asked for his name and he refused which is against Florida law. I ran out and got pictures of them and a random person driving by stopped to help me. Just read reviews on Reddit on this company. Unfortunately this company feels like a giant scam. We had the sales team come to our door and we agreed to meet for an estimate. Juan ended up coming over for our estimate and the sales pitch lasted 4 grueling hours, from 4pm-8pm. We also have a toddler my husband and I were trying to wrangle and Juan could not take a hint that things needed to be wrapped up. Juan did a thorough inspection and measured windows and we were estimated ~20k for the whole house so the plan was to split it up and do one half now and the other half later (this was the 3rd quote received and honestly a good quote for quality windows). We were encouraged to do the front half first because it helps with "curb appeal" so we went with it. The first half was installed and honestly they look incredible. A couple days later they return to do an inspection, I immediately start getting suspicious when the guy, Jack, starts taking pictures and measuring the windows that we decided to wait on. He informs us that we really should've installed the back half first due to water damage and he's not sure why that wasn't originally mentioned by Juan. So now Jack starts talking us in to doing the other half to prevent further damage. But, not only did Juan forget to show us the damage but he also measured the back windows incorrectly, turning his ~20k quote into a ~29k quote. Then, they were scheduled to come on March 9th to install windows and we received a call the last weekend of February stating the order for the windows never went through and that they were rescheduling our installation for April 1. I understand things happen and computer systems make mistakes but just an additional negative experience with the company. So here we are fixing all of our windows at one time instead of half and half because either 1. Someone came out and made a genuine mistake or 2. Someone came out with the mindset to scam an unsuspecting family. read more

The windows are great, the sales tactics are insane and defeat the point of the entire process. The price is high for windows and insane for roofing (its not even close). If you enjoy going to the dealership and fighting the sales people then you might like these people, but for 99.9% of people I would say stay away unless you want a lot of unnecessary stress in you life. 1) The sales rep came at a wrong time to solicit their services. Although it wasn't their fault that they didn't know, when someone tells you there is a death in the family, it's probably best to leave, and maybe not ask how their past holiday went- not the right time or appropriate question to ask at that time. 2) They kept pushing to set up an appointment. I agreed to give them a chance and was going to tell another family member to be on standby while I handle other businesses regarding the death in the family, my job, etc., but they kept pushing that all owners of the home must be present. When I said I trust my standby person to make a decision/ be there to ask questions, the rep kept pushing I had to be present. Frustrated, I told them forget it and reiterated that there's a death in the family and I am not in the mood to deal with it now Their response was they'll call me to confirm the appointment / see if it's an appropriate time to stop by for a quote. 3) They called me several times over several days. They've already left a bad taste in my mouth with what happened earlier (described in points 1 and 2) and now they are becoming invasive and annoying with their constant calls. Take a hint- I do not desire to do service with people who have no social awareness and are very pushy. I do not often post reviews unless you are very good or very bad; unfortunately, this company fits in the very bad category. I hope they take into consideration these reviews and criticisms, and use it to improve. Best of luck to them, but unless something drastic changes with the way they do business, not the company for me any time in the future. read more

This company lied to us multiple times to get the sale. The salesman manny gave us 4 different prices for gutters, soffit and fascia and also windows. Decided to do gutters and he convinced us to do soffit and fascia as well. Quoted a price. Next day I'm told from someone else that the soffit isn't included it's $6,000 more. So I say no just do my gutters. They come out to do the gutters and then I'm told there's 10 feet of gutter that they forgot to include in the quote so if I want it done that's more money. Like what? How do you not include everything especially because I already had existing gutters. So again the price increases. When I ask yet another person who calls about it I say well that's your salesman's fault so you should have to endure the extra cost. I was told no you either pay it or no gutters there. They removed a downspout I had and didn't replace it and kept hounding me to sign the document of completion even though the final inspection wasn't done with the inspector yet. He made me do it while on the phone with him and then once I signed it boom the $$$ was taken from my bank. And guess what? They've never contacted me to even do the final inspection. I was going to use them for windows as well but after seeing the underhanded way they do you I took my business somewhere else. I suggest to whoever reads this you do the same. They talk a good game but trust me they are not a good company. Overpriced liars who don't stand behind their words or salespeople. Highly recommend go somewhere else. read more

In Florida there are legal ways to door knock and illegal ways to door knock. Power House Remodeling uses illegal door knocking methods. After entering a "No Soliciting" posted neighborhood, three men refused to leave when asked. They said they were not able to leave because their bosses sent them there and "it is above my pay grade" to make that decision. They assured me that they had a legal right to be door knocking and nothing I said was going to change their plan. It is impossible to reach the company in Riverview directly. But checking with corporate, Power House prefers disrespecting residents wishes over respect. The corporate person assured me that Power House is obligated to make sure that all door knockers had permits. I re-engaged the three men and asked to see their permits. NOT ONE OF THEM HAD A PERMIT. So much for their aggressive assertions that they "legally had a right to be there." Every one of them knew better but preferred lying. read more

Salesperson came to door. There is no solicitation in our neighborhood. But my husband set up an appointment to have them look at windows. This was around 1:30 pm. Nice enough fellow. Looked at windows then asked about the roof. Sure take a look. Oops trouble there is leaking. Wow now we are worried! Time ticks by, what about the gutters? Sure take a look at those too. Time ticks by. It's now about 4:30 and we still don't have an estimate. He is still talking to my husband about the roof. Even showing photos of the so called leaks. It's now 6:00. He is now starting to get to the numbers. Over 60,000 for a new roof. And windows about 40,000. Ok, we have a second story but don't have that many more square feet than most! I am so tired of having this sales call. Never in my whole life have I had a sales call run over 6 hours. Then the hard sale comes in. If you sign today you can save about 10,000. Well check your credit score, we can get you financing, blah blah blah. How about I run get a bite and come back? Sure we say. At this point I needed a drink and aspirin! My husband and I talk it over and decided it was definitely a no go. We don't do these things without quotes and references and insurance. He comes back we give home the news. At first taken ok but as more time wears on not so much. Price only good for now, goes up when I leave, blah blah. Finely after over 6 hours of call he leaves. First a today only price should be never taken from these people. Yes, they state the quote is good for a year. And the roof would have a 50; year warranty, but with insurance companies making you change out your roof who is to say that that warranty would be any good. I doubt they will replace my complete roof every 20 years. There was no data for that. Only they would talk to the adjuster if necessary. But, not for today's special price. When you hear that you could save 10,000 you think real hard. But, we didn't fall for it and so far a new roof and gutters will be less than half of the 60,000 quote. The sales tactics are by the book if you're in sales you will see them coming! read more

Where do I even begin? The holds for over 20 minutes to try to reach someone? The plants that were trampled in front of my house to install a window? Ripping out two windows that were not included in the plans to be removed and then having to fight the company to replace them? Or how about waiting 2.5 months for inspection, only to find out a document wasn't submitted from their permits team, and the "customer service" agent who could care less about our issue and would leave the conversation with large gaps in even talking to me, forcing me to end the call? I made a poor choice with Power Home Remodeling. Do better than I did. If you've recently signed a contract, hopefully you're still within the cancellation window...cancel! Usually, a "Superior product" comes with service that's at least a little better than a trip to the DMV and a quality finished product. Not at Power Home Remodeling! You'll pay a premium price to be treated like a number & get to enjoy less-than acceptable work! In my experience, this company cares about its profit more than its customer's satisfaction. 1) allowing (encouraging?) sales to set inaccurate expectations - sales has no knowledge of current production times related to supply chain issues 2) no proactive communication along the way. 3) a poor finished product My project was delayed by 15 weeks from the expectation set by sales and by 6 weeks from the revised "promise date" set at inspection - I learned of each of the delays when I called. You read that right...when I called. I understand the supply chain issues. But to make sure sales doesn't know the real story about true expected install timeframes is downright corrupt, and it's not too much to ask that someone there would pick up the phone and make an outbound phone call to give a heads up on status. DAY BEFORE the "Promise install Date" set at inspection I thought to myself, "they promised they would be here in the morning to start, but I haven't heard any confirmation, so maybe I should call before I start taking down blinds/curtains & moving furniture". So I call & nope. "It'll be next week." It wasn't. It was six weeks. If, as you say in your reply to this review that, "the satisfaction of [your] customers throughout the entire remodeling process [is your] top priority" then, communication about delays (breaking promises) seems table-takes to make your actions match the words, no? Here is a snippet of a recent conversation I had with Shane, one of PHR's managers, regarding the (apparently novel) suggestion/expectation of proactive communication: Shane: "If we were going to call every single one of our customers about delays in their projects, we would have to hire a person to do JUST that job alone!" Me: "Yes. Yes, you absolutely should if that's what it takes. It's not too much of an ask from your customers. In fact, I had sliding doors done by another company in the same industry. Supply chain issues affected them too, but the difference was that they at least called me to let me know, and they're a smaller company" Shane: "That's exactly why they could call. They can call because they're smaller" Wut? "Smaller" = "more resources to make phone calls" ??? I'm not tracking... Here's an idea, PHR: hire the person you evidently need in order to be able to communicate with your customers, and you won't need to pay the marketing department so much to manage your online reputation. Whatdya think? No? Hire more door-knockers instead? Ok. Gotcha. I should have had the "smaller" company do my windows too. They were less expensive. I chose PHR because of the difference in expectations around install. The "smaller" one said it'd be 30 weeks-ish. PHR at sales appt said 9 to 11 weeks, and because they boast this exclusive manufacturer relationship...so it made sense to me. Nope. I was just duped. Turns out the "smaller" company is also honest up-front. And, yes, I'm frustrated. Mostly tho with myself for not sniffing a snake. Windows installed today. They're nice as Power didn't make them. The work Power did was not commensurate with what you'd call "a superior product" The trim work is horrible, didn't bother to clean up afterwards. Sure did the work fast tho! And!! They DID make an outbound phone call! While the crew was still caulking the trim, they called to collect the balance In summary: Corrupt, dishonest sales process. Horrible service. Shoddy work.
