When I called them to find out what information was being used on this fraudulent loan applcation to see if I had an identity theft problem, the company refused to tell me what was on the loan application. Yes, I agree. the $2 per $100 per day can quickly shoot up to over $1000 a month on interest on a $1155.00 loan. They were very nice. They will call you to let you know when the payment is due. I know these loan places offer extremely high interest, but even if you pay it off early, there is no lower rate. These people call me up, tell me I have been approved for a $990 loan. Great! WRONG!!! Since it is close to Christmas a loan like this would come in handy, but NOT at the price they wanted me to pay each month! This girl told me my first payment would be a prorated amount of $270.83, almost 1/3 of the loan, then wanted me to pay another 5 monthly payments of $663.48 a month! That is over $4000 for $990 dollar loan! Furthermore... I did not even apply for this loan, they ran my information without my permission from some website they use to get people's information! This is predatory at its finest. I wish I knew all the details before doing business with Power Finance. How do they expect you to repay 4X's the loan amount when the borrower was in a bind hence the reason for the loan? My loan was about 780.00. After all is said and done I'm paying back 249.00, 13 times to fulfill the loan. It's drafted like clock work. I've already paid back the amount I was approved but I'm still paying more due to interest. I'm sure they don't care because desperate people will continue to utilize this service. I wish this wasn't so but it is. I can't wait to be away from this company. I can't sleep because I can't afford groceries because this debit comes out bi weekly. Lesson learned.
