Word of mouth in the Whitestone (Queens) area suggested that Excellent Air had an "excellent"…read morereputation for service and value. As a former Queens resident, now living in DC, and renovating our family's home, my sister and I both spoke to Glenn. Gregg knew the area/the locale of the house, having worked on old systems and installing new HVAC systems on many similar houses in the development, Bayside Village. Though the original contractor did sub-par duct work, Glenn installed two new HVAC systems that were customized for the house and its apartment. Glenn's and his team were informative, in touch when it was necessary to order equipment and then to install it; provided a project outlook as to the number of days from beginning to end--all of which allowed us to continue with other aspects of the renovation having nothing to do with his team while his team and yet his team was able to efficiently work inside the house while other aspects of the renovation took place. Glenn helped me to decide on the possible systems that were available for our particular house, suggested a hybrid system that saved some bucks, and so his knowledge and familiarity impressed me, making it easy for me to go ahead with one of his suggested HVAC systems. He is a good man. This is an "EXCELLENT" company. It's folks like Glenn that give you your money's worth, both both in expertise and service.

Hired LusoPro to clean our HVAC vents and they did a great job…read more The technition came on time and was friendly, patient, professional, and thorough. Showed me before/after pictures of the vents and they look so much better. More importantly, we were considering another company that wanted to charge us double LP's rate and said that we had mold throughout our system, which sounded alarmist. The LP technition confirmed that we have mold on our vent covers only and not in our entire system. A much cheaper price for better, honest service. Will use again.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed these guys before…read more I first used them in 2023 after having some frustration with other companies to clean out the exhaust vent for my washer/dryer unit. The guy who came is named Vano. He was personable, considerate, warned me before he started to use the vaccuum ("I'm going to make noise!"), cleaned up after himself as well as dust that was on the floor, building up over the last year. He did the job well, and noticed that we do the laundry almost daily, so there's a rapid accumulation of garbage in the screen that catches all of the lint as the steam exits the exterior of our building... so he said that if we notice it getting clogged-up over the next 6 months, we can just call them to ask him to visit and clean the screen (it's very hard for us to access this screen safely) at NO CHARGE. That makes me feel like I would NEVER use another company for this service as long as these guys have Vano working for them. I am committed to these guys. They are simply 100% awesome.

Air Tactical was one of the best contracting companies I've worked with in recent memory. They are…read moreprofessional, punctual, personable, and proficient in the work they do. We setup an appt for checking the AC in our house due to weak airflow, and speaking on the phone was very communicative in trying to solve the situation as best we could, without on site work, but it turns out they needed to come by. They show up early, someone thankfully was home, and they check the whole house, each of the vents, temperature from AC, and the units outside. It turns out, there was a leak, and we have an old unit that still uses Freon, which is A. Expensive and B. Hard to come by. Different options were available, so we chose to refill the unit, and hope that it lasts awhile longer before more treatment. A new unit would be like 12-20K, which is a lot more than just maintenance. Anyhow, the AC is tremendously noticeably different and cooler, and after post payment research, these guys were on point with pricing, straight up, no funny stuff, overcharging, or grifting.
