Immediately, I was helped by a few kind associates at the store. It was clear my battery was bad, but they ran the diagnostic tool which confirmed it. They recommended a battery for me and another nice worker installed it for me. While they installed it, I asked the cashier if they had any good Christmas gifts in their store, and she recommended some emergency car kits to me. They kindly rechecked the diagnostics on my car to be sure that it was only the battery and not the starter or alternator. Even though I came into the store near closing time, the workers were all very helpful and I was out just in time for them to close on time!

I had an extremely unsafe and frustrating experience at the AutoZone in Centerline. My boyfriend…read moreand I purchased over $50 worth of windshield wipers last week, and had a worker install them for us. Today, while driving to work on the freeway, one of the wipers flipped and completely flew off -putting me in a very dangerous situation driving in the rain with only one working wiper. I came back to the store immediately after work, hoping they would replace the improperly installed wipers. Instead, I was told they "might have been able to help if I came in the same day," which made no sense - the issue only happened today! They then tried to make me purchase another set for $37. As a student, this is a huge financial burden, and more importantly, this situation was extremely unsafe. I am very disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer care. Proper installation of something as crucial as windshield wipers should be taken seriously. I will not be returning and would caution others to double-check installations elsewhere.

This used to be my go to location for tire rotations and for new tire purchases. This last visit…read moreJuly 30th 2025 I booked a tire rotation a few days ahead of time online. They looked over the tires first and told me I needed a new lug nut for my front passenger tire. I asked how much for a new lug nut would be and they said $90. I politely declined after checking the prices online and said there's nothing wrong with the lug nut but there's something wrong with trying to price gouge. They go for less than $20 at auto part stores. They then refused to rotate the tires because it puts their staff "in danger". I left and went over to the Discount Tire on 14 Mile in Troy. They had me in and out in 25 minutes and when I asked about the lug nut in question they said there's nothing wrong with any of them. Sadly I cannot recommend Discount Tire in Centerline because of their dishonest business practices.

I said don't worry about it and as I pulled out of the driveway, he screams have a nice day... I went and talked to someone inside the office and he looked at me weird when I said the guy said he wouldn't fill up the tire. And said to bring it back around. I do that, another guy walks up, proceeds to excuse the other employee and comes up with some BS any their compressor can't fill up my tire and that I need an appointment for them to look at the tire.
