Pre and Post photos of my R3 rims!
    Jon S.

Awesome job by the folks at BGB Powdercoat in Tempe. My R3 rims turned out fantastic. Really happy with the results. Thank you!

I use BGB all the time!!! We deal with high profile customers and Josh, George and the crew have always knocked it out of the park for us @freeridebikeco. The quality is spot on and even when i have asked them to do what they think i even get more mind blown!!! The turn around times are always as stated and his quality is perfect!!! Even small details are never overlooked. From A basic sandblast on occasion to a full custom project with many details they always come through !!!

    Entry with Refinished Security Door

Josh and the folks at BGB are friendly and they get the job done. BGB offer a wide selection of powder coat finishes and we found one that perfectly matched our front door. They sandblasted away the old paint along with some rust at the bottom, gave it a chemical etch to promote adhesion of the new paint, and turned the job around in a little over 2-weeks. The only flaw was somehow the locking stile of the door came back dented and deformed which complicated re-installation of the latch; but that didn't stop us from getting the job done. The refinished security door looks better than ever and refinishing the door saved us hundreds over replacing it.

Desert Raider 2, a mix of art and brutality, thanks to Powder Coat It, and Bicycle Ranch!

Powder Coat it did a great job powder coating my mountain bike frame, bars, seat post and crank arms back in November. I just got a new bike because a crack was discovered by my bike shop on the frame. So, I got a new bike, and the first thing I had done was to strip the frame down so it could be powder coated again, along with the seat post and bars. Once again, they did a phenomenal job. It was completed when promised, and it's beautiful! They do quality work, at a fair price.

    Our 'new patio table!
    Dimitri L.

We decided to have our old patio table repainted by Powder Coat It. We made a trip to their Tempe store to pick out the color and to arrange a pickup for our table. The entire crew was very helpful and professional about this job and we've had our beautiful table back a few days ago. We are thrilled with how it turned out! We chose Hammertone Bronze and our table now looks very contemporary. Upon our request they took the time to sand out imperfections in the metal before they powder coated it and our patio table looks brand new! Thank you Powder Coat It, we will definitely use you again in the future.

I don't usually take the time to write long reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves it…read more I recently visited Wheel Specialists, Inc., and had the opportunity to work with Gary, the General Manager. What stood out to me was the level of professionalism, character, and leadership Gary demonstrated throughout the entire interaction. There was a very slight misunderstanding regarding the services believed to have been paid for. Now, let's be honest--situations like that can go sideways very quickly. Most places get defensive, frustrated, or even confrontational when a customer believes they're right (even if they might not be entirely correct). I've seen it happen many times. Gary was the complete opposite. Instead of reacting emotionally or becoming demanding, Gary handled the situation with an incredible level of humility and grace. He calmly asked thoughtful questions, took the time to truly understand where I was coming from, and created an environment where the conversation felt respectful and productive--not tense or uncomfortable. That alone is rare. What impressed me even more was his patience and kindness throughout the entire process. There was zero ego involved--just a genuine desire to get clarity and make things right. You can't train that. That's character. Because of the way Gary handled this situation, it completely changed my perspective--not just about the business, but about how powerful it is when someone leads with professionalism, respect, and emotional intelligence. I actually walked away learning something from him. That says a lot. It's very clear why Wheel Specialists, Inc. has Gary in a leadership role. People like him are incredibly valuable to any organization. He represents the company at a very high level, and his approach to customer service is something more businesses should strive for. If you're looking for a place that does high-quality, scratch-free wheel work AND treats customers with respect and professionalism, this is it. And if you get the chance to work with Gary, you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about.

Discount Tire said there was nothing they could do, leaving me without a resolution on how to get the wheel off. The Lincoln dealership also couldn't assist, and I was sent to four different locations across the valley, including some specialists, but none were successful. Some attempted unsuccessfully, while others suggested welding off the bolts, with no guarantee of the cost or damage. After exhausting every resource in the area over a week, I contacted a friend who owns CMH Auto in Niagara. Phil found the situation ridiculous and offered to help, but it meant driving four days with three worn tires with 55,000 miles on them, a risk I couldn't take. As a last resort, teary-eyed, I pleaded with the service manager, Dave Sleater, at Wheel Specialists to see what he could do. He asked me to leave it with him, and my wife and I took an Uber home. Within the hour, he called to say it was done, and the relief I felt was incredible. After a week of frustration, I finally found my savior. When I went to pick up the vehicle and expressed my gratitude to Dave, I noticed his two cut knuckles. He said he did the work himself--it wasn't easy, going through four sockets and scraping his knuckles a few times. I've never experienced such incredible service and felt such elation because someone had the heart to help someone in dire straits. I am forever grateful.

I emailed them photos of what I was considering getting and was emailed back promptly. They quoted me a fair price so I gave them a shot. At the store they had many cerakoted items on display that I wanted to look at before making my final decision. The woman helping me seemed a little irritated by this as she figured I wanted the one I emailed her a photo of. I got the feeling I was wasting her time and she wanted me out. Maybe she was having a bad day? I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to be finished but thankfuly it only took a week. When I got the finished product in my hands the overall work was nice. I pointed out a few concerns to the same woman as before. She insisted it was how it was supposed to be. I know what she meant but she was not seeing what I was based on her answers. Keep in mind she had her glasses on. Her answers to my questions were short and had the same now you can go attitude as before. I figured she wouldn't be able to fix the minor problem she is either doesn't see or doesn't care so I left with it. This was my sixth cerakote ever. The other five were done at another location in the East Valley. The work and customer service was much better there. I won't be back to Koted Arms.
