I love staying at 591 Main! In my opinion, there's no better place to stay in Park City. There…read moreare three different apartments to choose from that range in size. If you're looking for a place to accommodate between 2 and 6 people, 591 Main likely has the perfect rental for you. Between 2009 and 2013, I've stayed here four times - -three times in Apt #1, the 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit (sleeps 6) and once in #5, the 1-bedroom, 1-bath unit (sleeps 4). Both apartments are comfortable and clean. They have cable TV w/ VHS/DVD players, WiFi, fully equipped kitchens (stove, fridge, dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave) and #1 even has a washer/dryer! Everything about staying here is convenient and pleasant, from working with Jeni to book the reservation to the excellent location right in the center of town, close to the best restaurants, bars and galleries that Park City has to offer. I plan a trip to Park City annually with a group of friends. I've never considered staying anywhere else and I've already made my reservation for 2014. If you're looking for a home-away-from-home while in Park City, 591 Main is the place for you. Don't look any further.

Right on Main St, which is the heart of Park City. We easily walked to all of the restaurants (Talisker's, Zoom, Shabu), bars (No Name, Flanigans, High West) and to the Town lift. The unit itself is small and clean and when the bed is down there's little space. There's also a small kitchen, TV w/cable, table w/2 chairs and a bathroom (shower, hair dryer, W/D, clean towels and hotel sized toiletries). The shower is great, lots of pressure and hot water. Perfect after a long day on the mountain.

The location of this condominium is wonderful as it's a very short walk to the ski lifts. However…read moreour condo is in desperate need of updating and repair. We received a call a few hours prior to arriving that the sleeper sofa was broken. Fortunately though, we did not have guests that needed to use that sleeper sofa. The TV only had one channel that was functioning and did not tune to anything else. There was streaming if you wanted to watch other things on the TV though. The nice part about the free Wi-Fi is that it was very fast. It's really a shame, this could be such a nice place with a little TLC and freshening up. Probably will not stay here again.

So our car is stuck in the garage until who knows when, if....... We have a 12 hour drive ahead and a child waiting at our destination. We have no resolution other than renting a car and abandoning ours. The car elevator was broken when we got here. We were told we MUST park on lower level via elevator or be ticketed. We hesitated parking there because the elevator was broken for a brief period when we got here. We have since learned it is often down, and was down the day before. Some folks were notified to move but we were not. We have since learned that the car elevator is often down. It looks like the inside of a dumpster. I guess it could be worse, we could be stuck inside it. Horrible experience with no resolution in sight....

In a previous life, I was one of those management consulting schmucks, who would travel all over…read morethe world, and stay at the 4 Seasons and only slum it at the Westin if I absolutely had nowhere else to go, when the Waldorf was booked solid... But, I'll tell ya, NONE of those places holds up in a head-to-head with a place like Mountain's Edge. In the end, a place like the Waldorf is a very nice, very professional place... it's the perfect place to stay if you're in town for an IMF meeting or if you need a big suite, along with several rooms for your entourage of secret service agents, because you just happen to be the dictator of a tiny Middle Eastern oil nation. But, if you're in Park City to go skiing and have fun and enjoy the snow with friends and family, you want something a little more convenient and down-to-earth and friendly. Mountain's Edge are 2 condos owned by Rhonda & Terry. They have lovingly maintained the condos and have made them an absolutely amazing place to stay when you're in Park City. You have access to the hot tub, the sauna, the steam room, and all the little amenities and personal touches that you'd never find in a hotel room - they even have Cafe Ibis coffee. (No, joke, Cafe Ibis coffee is "triple certified, organic, fair trade, Smithsonian-certified shade grown "bird-friendly" coffee. How funny is that?) What my wife and I found particularly convenient is the fact that you are literally slope side, at the base of Park City Mountain Ski Resort. You're just steps away from the ticket office, rentals, shops, etc., etc. My wife and I were able to ski-in and ski-out, come back to the condo for lunch, go back and forth when we forgot something we needed - it makes for a really convenient ski trip, as opposed to something akin to a military campaign, i.e., something you have to plan out months in advance for. Look, I have nothing against the 4 Seasons and the Waldorf. Believe me, more than anyone else, I wish I still had access to my old corporate expense account. But, given the choice, I'd choose to stay at Mountain's Edge any day of the week. Something about Rhonda and Terry's personal touches and their attention to us helped to make the entire stay the very, very best.

Location, location, location -- and this unit is in the prime location. 2nd unit from the end and from the sliding glass door, you can see the slopes. A quick walk and you are at the Pay Day lift. (trust me, your kids won't complain about walking to the lift) As a mom of 2 kids (ages 12 & 9), I truly appreciated the condo layout. The 2 kids slept in the loft and even had their own bathroom. Plus, the decor is updated and it was very clean!! We cooked in the unit a few nights and the kitchen is perfectly adequate. Also, the unit is close to the Park City Resort bus stop, so you can easily take it to Main Street for shopping/dinner/etc. I also liked The Cutting Board cafe (in same building as condo) for lunch -- wonderful omelletes. The skiing was amazing for all of us and our different levels. The boys spent most of their time in the bowls and because of the condo location, anyone could come in early. But when you are in Park City, you normally don't want to come in early. The owner went above and beyond with her communication, tips/resources and even got us discounted lift tickets for our stay. Amazing and wonderful. Thanks for the perfect family ski vacation. The owner and the condo made it very enjoyable and stress-free. We will be back to stay at the same place. Thank you again!
