I moved in to Lofts at 7800 in March 2024 to be close to my work. I have been nothing but patient...and beyond. And now I realize how little they care for their tenants. I was SO very excited to move in initially. As soon as I moved in, I battled with ants for several weeks not to mention the insane amount of insects. I have never experienced anything like this before. Every place I have lived in they were super wonderful about taking care of their tenants...including insects. I will say that the maintenance team are great here; however, when I moved in my sink was backing up and they fixed it...so I thought it was fixed, but then AGAIN after three months I am still dealing with the same issue. I have spent so munch money with the cleaning service...as every time the maintenance come through I have to have my home cleaned to get all the stance out from under the sink baking up into the apartment.. On top of that I have had a leakage under my sink which leaked everywhere on the kitchen which caused my floor to warp. I asked when that would be fixed and I was told by the leasing office...that Maintenance had other priorities. WOW! How would you feel if you're paying $1800 a moth? I don't believe I'm being unreasonable. I have complained again about the insects...I was told that they didn't get any complaints from other tenants...so therefore I don't matter. No resolution was offered to me...instead I was treated like a pest. I take pride in my place and take care of it like it's my own home, but when I am paying their mortgage I would expect them to take care of me and my place. Is that so much to ask? I am still dealing with flying insects...it's hovering over my desk, bed, bathroom. I even had a couple that flew into my nostril. This is the barbecue area at the Lofts at 7800 from last summer. This is after my husband and I had spoken with the management office about keeping the area cleaner for tenants. We were ignored. Then I called and left a message for the property company manager who also ignored me and never bothered to return my call or rewind in any way. More t is needed. read more

At first they were OK and I was in love with these apartments after living 3 in here Oh my perspective change it was always always a bad smell in my apartment from the sink It was always something more to pay, every time that I renew my contract the carpet cleaner was Horrible, The management Continued to change several times when I was there in the last two girls they were in there were unprofessional anot friendly every time that I I wanted to talk to them about something They were just on the phone taking forever to talk to me, Very rude I will not recommend to nobody these apartments for the money they are charging instead I will open their eyes and tell them the they have more options around Like the new apartments at the garden station or the ones right across the street for the same price , The only good thing about this is the maintenance guys are so nice and they always working hard I always say hello to you no matter !! read more

We wanted so badly to be able to give the Lofts on 7800 a 5 star review, however our experience here deserves nothing more that 1 star raring. My wife and I had signed a 15 months lease, during which we experienced a new level of micro-management that we almost felt like we where in the penitentiary system. The management was not customer service oriented and frankly rude. We paid about 1350.00(utilities and rent) a month for the top floor 1 bedroom apartment; with that price point you would expect a certain experience. Not only was the customer service incredibly laking, the maintenance was a joke. We went with out power for nearly 24 hours. I made several request to fix the issue and was finally was contacted nearly 48 hours later. This is just one of many negative issues that we experienced. Our sincere recommendation would be to NOT lease from the Lofts and find a different location, or better yet purchase a home like we did. We find it almost comical that they have an auto response to every review, but the negative reviews continue to occur, and in our experience nothing is being done to address the negative issues. read more

The lofts have a very quiet community and its nestled in a great location. I love that I can get to Gardner village in less than 5 mins from my home. My neighbors are the best. Very social and fun. I love the gym and especially the hot tub. The layout is very spacious. I would highly recommend the lofts to anyone looking for a place to live. read more

The apartment itself is very nice. It's a contemporary style with all the amenities you'd need. However this is where things end when it comes to positives. After 9 months of living here , words can't describe how terrible management at this location is. These individuals truly think they are better then you. First they scam you by taking a refundable deposit which they know you'll never get back even if you leased the apartment and didn't live in it. This is their actual expectations of cleanliness they expect. Second, they constantly send out messages for useless purposes which serve no purpose other then to annoy the hell out of you and ultimately lead you to the conclusion that this is as close to a concentration camp as someone can get to. Roxanne the manager who took over Emery(who was a great manager) walks around with her chin up as if she is running a Beverly Hills Golf Club house. They treat their tenants like sheep, this is what one truly feels like living here. It's actually amazing how they've managed to gather so many special individuals under one roof. The only person aside from Emery who is not in that category is Jessica who had been very helpful and great to work with all along. Don't let the looks of these apartments fool you however if you do, you'll be hitting yourself in the head when it comes time to move out when you realize what elitists run this place. read more

The management is awful. They tell you something is a deposit, then when you try to get it back it's a "fee". They have weekly inspections, and somehow "lose" your money so you have to pay it twice. I don't recommend to anyone, unless you want to live in hell. Loud construction all around, and close to train so it wakes you up in the middle of the night. Don't live here. read more

The Lofts are a premier apartment complex in the salt lake valley. Very quiet, luxurious and management is very nice. Moving out is easy and the deposit and final inspection is fair and not a hassle. Great communication from the top down. Highly recommend to anyone looking. Only reason for moving out was that I purchased a home but I will always encourage friends to check this place out! They where good at first when we moved in. Things quickly changed to nothing working in our brand new apartment, and making excuses of why it was not working when we moved in. We where also not told that we where paying for garbage, and water utilities which I have NEVER paid for at an apartment when I moved in until I got a bill for it. Would of been nice to know that before we moved in. WAY to expensive for a one bedroom apartment with no storage, so glad we moved out when we did! read more

We love living here! The location is prime with multiple shopping centers only ten minutes away in every direction, the Jordan river path just outside our door, a dog park and lots of friendly neighbors with pets, the freeways only two minutes away, two trax stations within walking distance, and Gardner village next door. The nights are quiet and the traffic is minimal in the neighborhood. The complex amenities are the nicest we've had in apartment living. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. There is a recycling service that picks up 3x/week. Plenty of parking spaces. We have been here for about 8 months and are very pleased:) read more

We have lived in three different apartment complexes, and I would rate the Lofts as the best. Great modern look inside the community and management is the best I've dealt with. One of the best perks is being close to the Jordan River. We are very impressed with the gym as it has everything you need for a full body workout. The only two issues that I have is not enough storage in each unit and the air conditioner does not seem to cool down the apartment enough. Hoping to get that fixed soon as I have reported it to maintenance. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. read more

This apartment is no way to get 5 star . Day 1 moved in 2 bedrooms carpets was smelly like stinky feet with dog shits . I washed carpet myself didn't go away that nasty smell! maintenance guy came he said just wash few more time and smell will go away. Is some kinda joke? No internet for 2 weeks no tv channels also . No hot water No heather either . Finally got internet and tv haha not even joke super slow internet and tv channels not working . I want to buy my own tv and internet providers forget it it's mandatory in rent even if u want special faster internet . I still have no hot water only Luke warm water . I wanna move out ASAP so people who wants to rent in loft 7800 make sure your water is hot . Internet tv connections yeah also people who have dogs they don't pick up dog shits . One of the nicer apartments I've lived in. I love the master bathroom sinks. I think they could have installed better appliances but I like the black. Good sized rooms. I have a great spot in the complex right by the river so I can hear the water instead of starring into the parking lot. Good internet, but it would be nice to have my own provider option. It's nice to have a dog park. I like that I can pay rent online. They could use more covered parking that comes with rent or even garage options. Overall I'm very happy with it. read more

Pros: very nice looking apartments. And that's where the pros end. Cons: it's built close to some factories. The noises would get too loud at times. We were also bothered by the noises from the train at nights since that was also close. All factors that we didn't take into consideration when we decided to move into these apartments. The main doors are so heavy that you could hear when neighbors let their doors shut close. In short it was not the most peaceful place to live. They don't wait a second to give their tenants warnings about everything and anything, even the smallest things such as having your car bumper stick out a tiny bit over the curb. It was definitely the strictest place that we've stayed at and not very welcoming at all. The biggest drawback and disappointment however came when we were to move out. We left the apartment in the cleanest possible condition for self cleaning. During the walk through however we realized that they were expecting a brand new apartment back just because it was brand new when we rented it out. It can never be brand new once it's been used right? Wrong! So if you want to move in consider not using or touching anything there. So they charged us for anything they could possibly think of. Mind you we did not break or damage anything and spend 3 hours just cleaning the apartment. When we expressed our disappointment the manager became passive aggressive and added more things to their "list". How professional. They even tried to tell me that we had been hiding a pet in our apartment that we never mentioned to them. I am in total shock and disbelief. What a disappointment. We've never had such issues with any apartment that we've ever rented out. All in all I would not recommend signing a lease with them. Please don't be deceived by the looks of the apartment or by how nice they act when trying to get you to sign a lease. Save your money, save your head ache and move to a different apartment with a better location, and better management. read more

The Lofts at 7800 is not a place I would ever rent from again, and I would never recommend them to friend. I will admit, they are very nice looking apartments, but they were made with very cheap materials. When we rented from them, they were brand new, and we were the first people to rent that unit. Just a few months in, the cheap vinyl flooring started peeling in a few places, and it dented really easily. The kitchen cabinets started falling apart. Our front door handle actually fell off our door, the shower curtain rod started to rust. The ventilation for our drying machine was not properly installed, so whenever we did laundry it was very hot inside, and there was lint covering that entire room. We had bugs and mold, and the dry wall was very cheap. If you ran anything mildly sharp lightly against it it would scratch. The paint job was horrible. It looked like it was rushed through, and there are random globs of paint all over the walls. Not to mention while all of us were out of the house, the glass covering on the light in the master bathroom fell and shattered. Good thing we were out of the house too. Could you imagine doing your business only to have that glass cover coming falling on your head? And to think they were charging top dollar for this. Now I know what you're probably thinking; "we didn't keep our house clean." We kept our house impeccably clean. Between us roommates we had a chore list that was always completed, which is why it's so sad their apartments fall apart so easily. Maintenance was able to fix the front door handle, but everything else remains to be fixed. This is why we are astounded to find out they bumped rent up by over a $100 for the next year. This place is not worth the price. This place is also crazy noisy. The other Yelpers here aren't kidding. Crazy parties at The Rooftops next door, loud parties at Gardner Village, that really loud train that rolls by at 2am every night, and the load factories and construction nearby, and we can pretty much hear our neighbors breath. Now on to management; I will say they are very good in regards to working with you on payments. If you switched jobs and are going to be a week late on rent, as long as you tell them a week in advance, they're usually fine with it. They want their money, and this of course is good and bad. They want their money so badly that they have tons of fees. They told us in writing that they payed for water, sewage, and trash, but they lied. They never payed a penny of it, and when we confronted them about it, they pretty much just gave us the cold shoulder and said it's our problem. Be aware that when you move out, all of the carpet cleaning fees, and things like that that always follow moving out of an apartment will come out of the refundable part of your deposit. I don't know of another place that does that, but these guys certainly do. They say a pet deposit is half refundable, but right after we payed ours, they changed it into a pet fee, so we won't see a penny back. They have all these random inspections, sometimes one week after the other just to see if they can find anything to pin on you. The manager is the craziest of them all. Almost every morning she rides around on her little golf cart looking for anything she can fine anyone for. Parking, grills on the patio, smokers, and even bikes on the patio. Yep, have a bike? Better keep it inside because if she sees it, it's a $25 fine, every time. Honestly, the only one who is actually nice, thoughtful, and understanding is Jessica. She deserves to be manager, since she is a wonderful person to do business with. Anyone else just wants more money. I will never rent from here again, and I would advise everyone to stay away from here until they get their act together. It's absolutely ridiculous. Seriously, I don't understand these negative reviews. People talking about it being loud is wicked hard to understand. I wonder if it's because I live on the first floor so I don't get the same sounds they do from things across the river. I am moving out and the experience here has been nothing but great for me from management. I remember seeing some of my neighbors for the first time after several months of living there and we were surprised to see each other. We thought no one lived next to us which prompted the question to each other "Do you ever hear anyone?" Because quite frankly, it was rare to hear anything outside the apartment. Living across the river from TRAX should only be a bother if you want to sleep with the windows open. It's important to note that a full size train travels at night on the same tracks as the regular TRAX. Even so, it's a whisper with all the windows closed and I live as close as you can get to the river. My view in G building is freaking awesome. Management has always addressed my concerns quickly and effectively (either about parking spots, or maintenance or anything else) and everyone there has always been kind and wonderful and willing to chat about anything even if it's not about the complex making it a friendly environment. Right next to my building is a bridge to cross the river onto the Jordan River trail which goes for miles in either direction. It was very enjoyable during warm weather. I am only moving because I decided to buy my own house. I loved this place greatly. read more
