Here's how my story starts…read more I ordered (what I thought were) higher-end sun louvers for the rear window of my car. The mount plates for the louvers came unpainted, which wasn't good. I tried painting them myself but spray paint was not a long-term solution. This is where Eurobeatwheels comes in. I put out a request to those who do powder coating. EBW responded with a reasonable quote, I brought them over, and recently picked them after a few weeks. (This was not a rush order, I didn't plan on mounting the louvers for a while.) They actually charged me less than the quote, which may have been because it was a small project. With that being said, the very fact EBW took the job makes it more likely I'll be turning to them for additional work, such as powder coating the sun louvers themselves this winter. And, of course, probably the wheels for a semi-classic car I keep touching up periodically. Thanks!

I got a quote from Rob for bent wheel repair starting at $180…read more On March 27, 2025, I dropped off my wheel with Boris, who had reopened the shop. I emailed Rob on Monday, March 30, to let him know I had dropped it off. This was his response: "No problem, thanks for the heads up! It will be ready for pickup by tomorrow. Thanks." When I returned the next day, Rob's coworker rang me up for $300. I told him Rob had quoted me $180. Rob then told his coworker $200, and the price was lowered accordingly. However, I was also pressured to leave an online review. This was my experience dealing with this company, and it will be my last.

We have a metal/iron work business and sometimes our clients request powder coating. The work they…read moredo is very good, detailed and they have it done in a timely manner. We just had to drop off the item and pick up when complete. Twice they have matched what color the client wanted. So far no complaints and we've been using them almost 1 year now. The cost is in the middle. If item is not too large or a big amount, they will have it ready in a week, and they provide quotes in advance when requested.

Told me there may be some warpage on the lid but they could do it in three weeks. Three weeks go by, I call and they say it will be another couple of weeks. Stated they had to strip it again because they powder coated the hinge shut. Six weeks from the beginning they call and say it is done. They showed me the now bent up warped and dented cabinets. I asked them if they were proud of the work? They said no. They blamed the sand blaster. Told them the cabinets were useless to me. They said there was no charge. Gee thanks now I'm out two custom metal cabinets from an antique RV. Not only did they bent the metal they also bend the flanges that hold the hinges and several double thickness edges. Then they powder coater over the bent-up metal. Bubbled up dirty powder coating looks like it was coated over sand paper it is so rough. Maybe they can coat a fence post but they should not try sheet metal.

The best pros I've found in 20 years of looking for a good metal refinisher…read more The finishes in my Victorian house are bronze (door knobs, locks and hinges), and were in terrible condition. Two different metal refinishers attempted to restore them--one did so-so and one was terrible. The guys at Metal Magic brought them back to their original splendor and way exceeded by highest expectations. They understand that certain metals, like bronze, require different polishing processes than brass. They took enormous care regarding other details. For example, instead of just refinishing the visible part of the locks, they disassembled, cleaned and lubricated each lock mechanism which I now expect to work for another 140 years. I pointed out to them that my exterior door-set needed to be refinished every few years due to sun exposure and they suggested applying a clear ceramic coat to that one instead of the usual varnish--which should stand up for many more years. All this, and their prices are quite reasonable.

Unfortunately, everyone used a harsh chemical brass polish that had worn down the lacquer finish considerably; as well, from pet stains had damaged it through corrosion. We thought there was no chance in saving it. After talking with Dave, I dropped the table off at the antique store and got it back within two weeks, when he had estimated 3-4 weeks. As well, the final price was below the original quote! I appreciate being given an over-estimate. But most importantly, the finished piece was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I couldn't believe the improvement, from a tarnished, smoke and pet stain damaged piece. Dave is very talented and will save your things like he did ours!
