It is a pretty big store to say the least and cuddly toys, prams, cots as well as baby bottles are some of things you will find at BabyStoreDirect. This store is pretty useful for those who are expecting new additions to the family. The clothes at BabyStoreDirect are really cute and well priced. Everything at BabyStoreDirect are at affordable prices and if you do want to find out more visit the website given above. Staff are top class and they will answer questions if you have any. The BabyStoreDirect store is worth a visit.

Babystore is a very traditional shop placed in Walsall Road next to other independent shops. As they are known as one of the largest ones in the country, which means you can find practically everything for your newborn and kids in early ages. I was quite impressed with the range of cribs and cot beds. Styles, colours and different sizes that would probably keep parents a bit busy and undecided to choose the perfect one. Plus, the delivery is for free with orders up to £ 50 so you it means you can make the most of it. The baby safety items are really interesting as well and it's unbelievable how they can think about absolutely everything nowadays to keep the children safe.

From DIY tools to stationery to lunchboxes to toilet rolls, these are some of things that are on offer here. So if you don't fancy going shopping at high retailer stores, this shop could be what you are looking for. In these difficult economic times, people will be trying to save as much money as possible and there are plenty of bargains to be snapped up here. The staff are friendly and you can have plenty of banter with them. The customers I saw at The Bargain Store were able to have a conversation with the staff and so was I. You get along with the staff so easily but the most important thing is the fact there are plenty of items here at cheap prices.

I hope they can maintain a decent quality whilst keeping price down to a minimum. I worry ethically about cheap products and the exploitation of Third World labour. I was pleased to find out that a great deal of the products on sale were made in Birmingham. I hope that the people that manufacturer the products on sale here give their employees a fair wage. If they do I will be more than happy to keep buying these products.

I try and shop here every 2 - 3 weeks, and the discounted prices on shopping to be had in here, are gob-smackingly good! The ideal place to get all your authentic ingredients for that all special curry and what not. I buy all of my asain, Indian ingredients in here and more. The small packets of spices are convenient and the cheapest that you can get! Everything from the Basmati Tilda rice, flour, nuts, great juices, tea, snacks, lentils, oils, juices, cereals, shop here first. You'll be hooked, with famous brands it's a shame they don't offer some kind of reward scheme! My tip, try the bags of 'Paneer' in the fridge section, on your right when you walk in (past the big bags of onions....) at £3.99. Fry into a tomato curry, just delightful and beats takeaway food. I find I always fill my trolley shopping in here. The prices ARE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN GET! They close early on Wednesdays and only the far till on your right accepts debit cards. They even have free asian newspapers for you to take away, if you can read them. What makes this place extra special is staff at the door will look after your shopping bags and give you a numbered ticket whilst you shop and browse! 1 Hour free car parking is available for shoppers, there after, it's £1 per hour. Enjoy. A great gem and a much valued and appreciated store for all communities.

Only if I am in Handsworth and am desperate to buy Indian ingredients. There are closer green grocer stores that have Indian spices and plus there are high retail stores that sell Indian ingredients needed for making curries. But the prices at S&D Supermarket are excellent and they won't be beaten anywhere else. From tea to Indian snacks and savouries to cereals, these are some of the things you can buy from this supermarket. This is an excellent store for the locals and those living in Birmingham. To top it all off, the staff are top class here and they will help you out. If you do need guidance on any of the products at this supermarket, they will be there. There is car parking on-site and parking will be free for an hour. After that you will be charged £1 for every hour.

NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN. AVOID THESE FAKESTERS. MEDINA SUPERSTORE, MAS BAZAR and even BANGLa STATION with its high prices is better than Paks supermarket lozells road, atleast in Bangl station you gonna get fresh produce at the weight it's supposed to be at even if they charge extra but at PaKsSupermarket Lozells not only they charge you but the hive you produce which is gone bad and even from there they will steal a few pieces out. The clothes here are made with true quality and style yet the prices are so very reasonable. The thing that makes it so bad in my eyes is it's level of stock. Sometimes they will have rails and rails of the same item in different colours and sizes, then another time there will be loads of different styles on offer but they're all a size 10 or 12. The styles of clothes are reasonable, I don't like their trousers at all because they never seem to hang right - and I'm not a strange size at all as other (skinnier!) friends have said the same about Peacocks trousers. They have a good selection of vests and summer clothes in the warmer weather, although at this time of year all the branch seems to stock is frumpy jumpers and horrible coats! Prices have really gone up in this branch, I'm not sure if this is true across the whole chain but items which were fairly cheap can now be found much cheaper in other clothes shops. If you're pregnant it's worth looking at some of their larger sizes as they are usually elasticated past a size 14 in here so will act as decent maternity wear! The staff in this branch couldn't be bothered whether you buy anything or not, and it shows in their attitude. They're not rude or ignorant at all, it's just that I don't think they want to be there! And neither do I!

I have used One Stop for various bits and pieces since I first moved to Birmingham in 2003. Being an ex UCE (now BCU) student, it was just over the road from my Uni and close to my student accommodation; meaning I could do all my weekly shopping in one place (without having to lug it back to somewhere too far away). One Stop has it's own car park, but it does get very busy on Saturday's. You get three hours free parking; which gives you plenty of time to pop to the shops and get out before going over. As well as your chain shops (such as Asda, Boots and Rymans), there is a small selection of Independent stores including a butcher (that sells goat and mutton), a florist and various clothing stores and market stalls. There is a good amount of discount stores, so you can grab your weekly shop at the supermarket and then grab some "bits and pieces" from Heron Foods, Poundland and Bodycare. There is a particularly good Mark and Spencer's outlet store which I have been able to get jeans for £4 and great bargains in the large clearance section at the back (to the left hand side). One Stop isn't glitzy, but it is a good place to head to if you need your weekly shop or just grab a few bits and pieces. As a top tip; get down there early on the weekends to get a parking space.

Let's face it Perry Barr isn't famed with being exactly a crowd puller and One Shop offers a little glamour to one of Birminghams more neglected parts of town. Afterall you can't fight the joy of the shopping centre experience of being penned in on all sides by familair high street stores and One Stop has them in abundance. There's an Argos, numerous phoneshops, a KFC and a Burger King! If you after something a little more healthy there's also a Holland & Barretts! One Stop is a modern shopping centre that adds a little sophistication to the surrounding area. It also serves a good place to meet, something of a landmark, One Stop it might be but it's also worth a second look!
